About the Job

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial plant utility systems including Chilled Water, HVAC, Compressed Air, Power, and other systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment modifications as well as equipment failures.
• Assist with daily routine maintenance.
• Conducts visual system inspections and monitors system operations/processes to ensure proper operations and to detect equipment failures, potential leaks, or other problem situations; reports maintenance needs to appropriate personnel; performs preventive maintenance checks and procedures on system equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology, or related field, preferred.

• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and able to use all necessary test equipment.

As an HSE Manager, you will take ownership of creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You’ll lead the development and continuous improvement of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for shipping finished product to internal and external customers according to specified carrier, method and packing instructions in support of TSS Denver’s Vision–Mission–Values (VMV).  This position must follow the shipment orders to ensure not only the timely delivery of product, but also that product is not damaged during transport.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Packages finished product according to shipping instructions; includes ensuring correct package type, labeling, shipping method (ie. carrier and/or rush orders), and required documentation.  Ensures product will arrive undamaged through packing process.

Uses the shipping software to generate packing slips; includes printing inner and outer labels and attaching all required documents and/or paperwork; completes process by ship confirming orders in the JDE system.

Ensures International shipments are packaged and shipped according to procedure.

Assembles boxes of all sizes for packing product; uses required bubble wrap packing material to ensure undamaged product is transported.

Schedules product pick-up from appropriate shipping carriers when necessary.

Trelleborg Medical Solutions is currently accepting application for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist (QSS). The Senior QSS is focused on the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, company policies and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports all aspects of the internal audit program, ISO notified body audits, customer audits and FDA inspections, including but not limited to:
  • Serve as an auditor for internal audits
  • Create and maintain internal audit schedule
  • Audit controlled document files in preparation for regulatory inspections and provides support during regulatory inspections and client audits
  • Initiate and execute audits, including developing and documenting the audit plan, leading the audit, generating the audit report, and tracking subsequent actions with the team
  • Provide support during external audits including scheduling, hosting, preparing audit responses
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure audit record content is accurate, well documented, and meets the requirement of the process
• Develops metrics and performs trend analysis of key QS areas such internal and external audit findings, CAPAs, nonconforming material, training, deviations, etc. to identify areas for improvement. Escalates trends to an appropriate quality system such as CAPA or CI; presents analysis to management
• Supports maintenance of the CAPA program
  • Serves as CAPA Owner as needed, driving necessary investigation, correction, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensures all internal and external audit findings are entered into the CAPA system, assigned to the appropriate personnel, and are completed in accordance to the CAPA procedures, within specified time periods
  • Approve corrective action plans and verify effective and timely implementation of corrective actions for audit nonconformities
• Oversees completion and control of customer questionnaires and other customer-required documents
• Initiates, facilitates and/or manages projects to expand, change, enhance and improve the quality system, as assigned
• Supports and coordinates activities related to nonconforming material, complaint/customer feedback, deviations, RMA, and CAPA processes
• Provides quality system training for the organization as needed
• Manages review of documents to ensure ISO/FDA compliance of controlled documents lifecycle including annual review management
• Own or co-lead strategic quality initiatives, such as QMS harmonization, digital transformation, or audit program redesign.
• Communicate quality system changes effectively across the organization, ensuring understanding and adoption
• Own or support projects and associated activities to ensure ongoing compliance as related to QMS.
• Design and deliver targeted training programs based on audit findings, CAPAs trends, or regulatory updates.
• Mentor and train junior QS Specialists, auditors, and CAPA owners.
• Own complex CAPAs or systemic issues that require cross-departmental or cross-site coordination.
• Perform deep-dive trend analysis across multiple quality subsystems and present findings to senior leadership. Recommend strategic actions based on data insights (e.g., training needs, process changes, risk mitigation).
• Develop and implement enhancements to the QMS based on audit trends, CAPA effectiveness, and regulatory changes. 

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Minimum of 2 year degree in Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing or related field; OR certificate in Regulatory Science or Medical Product Development plus 1 year of regulated industry work experience
• 3+ years of quality/regulatory experience in medical device or related industry
• 2+ year experience conducting investigations and root cause analysis for complex/advanced issues

Desired:

• 4 year degree in Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing or related field
• ISO13485:2016 and/or ISO9001:2015 Auditor Certification

Lead the Quality Team in direct support of manufacturing. Drive continuous improvement in product quality and compliance while partnering with production, and process engineering teams in achieving customer, cost and delivery objectives. Manage Pawling Maintenance department team (Maintenance Tech, General Mechanic and Building Cleaner). Maintain a positive and motivational work environment and work with the team on any performance or attendance issues. Areas of concern are Safety, Schedule, production, and time utilization in cooperation with plant production team.

• Provides hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of systems related to the production equipment.

What be you’ll doing?

Your role is essential to our organization. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Senior Quality Inspector will support the implementation, maintenance and ensure the applicability of the Integrated Management System in alignment with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100.

You will possess the appropriate quality and technical skills to be an expert in your subject matter. In doing so, facilitate problem solving techniques / guiding / coaching and taking the appropriate action(s) to support the organization in resolving Quality related issues.

As the Senior Quality Inspector, your role will entail:

Mentoring and supporting two Quality Inspectors in their development and sharing of expertise.

Assisting with third party audits and assessments, control principles such as calibration system,

Supporting FAIR and ISIR processes, coordinating and assisting with internal and external concerns, corrective action investigations and reports.

Supporting and assisting with site continuous improvement projects as identified by Quality Manager. 

Supporting the handling of customer returns, ensuring all returns whilst working with the Quality Manager to help identify relevant information in a timely manner.

Interacting with other departments to support production activities as applicable.

Developing and maintaining company inspection reports

Completing Quality Audits, reports and documentation required by external bodies (Green passports, FAIRs, ISIR, Military body reports, photographic reports etc..)

Working with all internal departments to drive and maintain quality levels, assist and support investigations into root-cause and assist in issue resolution.

Liaising with customers to help resolve queries and communicate information in relation to inspection and reporting.

Creating maintaining and revising specialized quality documentation.

Assisting with the process for dealing with and resolving non-conforming product.

Sharing knowledge and skills with other departments offering help and support where required and helping operators/ other departments within process inspection and queries.

What we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have technical competence within Engineering, preferably educated to degree level or time served experience of role.
• Hold a recognized Quality qualification or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential.
• Have experience of recognized Quality Systems (AS9100/ISO9000/).
• Be able to apply sound analytical techniques and have good verbal and written communication skills

• Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative for prolonged periods without supervision.

Development & Laboratory, Forsheda:

Focus Area 1: Develop a Method to Characterize the Performance of Recovered Carbon Black

Carbon black is used in the rubber industry to reinforce rubber and improve performance. It is produced from fossil-based oils. There are techniques to pyrolyze waste rubber — especially end-of-life tires — where the char from pyrolysis can be treated and reused as a carbon black replacement. Recycling tires and using rCB (recovered carbon black) results in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions but also presents some technical challenges. While some standards and literature exist around rCB testing and usage, a lot is yet to be explored.

•  Develop a method to test rCB.

•  Mix rubber compounds in a lab mixer and analyze the mixing process.

•  Analyze the performance of rubber compounds containing rCB.

Focus Area 3: Mixing of Rubber Compounds in a Lab Intermeshing Mixer

There are several factors to consider when mixing technical rubber compounds. While some aspects have been evaluated, many still require further investigation. 

•  Conduct practical tests using a computer-controlled rubber mixer, which provides extensive output data. This data can be analyzed to optimize quality, processing efficiency, and production capacity.

•  Connect rheological theories (how materials flow and deform) to the practical mixing process.

• The Software Configuration Engineer is responsible for building and configuring the project computer systems & implementation of key process software initiatives. The position is intricately connected with the Docking and Mooring products Software Team requiring regular interaction and collaboration with the Melbourne based team.

III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives in Trelleborg software configuration, interfacing with Project Engineering and the Software Team.
2. Project PC Systems:

• Review project specifications and order/build project computer systems to suit.
• Install and configure computer operating system in line with D & M project computer specifications.
• Configure operating systems, software applications, installers, firmware, and drivers for projects.
• Configure & Deploy Trelleborg software systems for each project.
• Assist in creating and configuring installers for software systems for each project.
• Confirm correct firmware and driver versions for each project.
• Conduct tests using simulators and other tools, prior to Integration and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
• Assist in Integration, Pre-FAT and FAT where appropriate and at the direction of the Lead Software engineer.
• Post FAT, finalize and prepare PC systems for shipment.

Other Responsibilities: 

1. Identify and resolve issues arising from operating system behavior.
2. Identify the root cause of faults and problems and make appropriate recommendations to reduce the likelihood of repeat occurrences.
3. Maintain documentation for systems, using existing documentation and if necessary, the development of additional documentation.
4. When directed by management provide technical assistance and support to Aftersales.

Din Profil

Vi ser gärna att du har akademisk utbildning inom ex.vis kemi, materialutveckling, polymera material alternativt motsvarande utbildning.

TSGF-certifiering är förstås riktigt bra, men inget krav. Kunskaper om gummi ger vi dig via Trelleborg Academy så det räknar vi inte med att du har.

Vi ser gärna att du har några års erfarenheter av liknande roll inom lab, eller R&D, men om du har rätt mind-set och ambitioner så är vi öppna för att du är i början av karriären.

Demand Planning Manager

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing production and materials planning within Trelleborg’s manufacturing operations. Responsible for the development and administration of a Quality System compliant to FDA and ISO requirements, including the utilization of optimal, cost-effective lean manufacturing processes and methods for new and existing projects including inspection, test and label control operations.  Working with internal and external customers supports, quality and continuous improvement using appropriate tools, project leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Supports internal audit program as necessary.
• Supports customer complaint (CC) and RMA system per procedures. Performs investigations, supports determination of the disposition of returned goods, determines re-inspection requirements, determines corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), issues complaint reports, supports completion of customer CAPAs, and approves to close. Looks for trends to determine actions to decrease number of CCs
• Maintains Non-Conforming (NC) system per procedures. Performs investigations, participates in MRB (Material Review Board) activities, supports determination of the disposition, determines re-inspection requirement, supports determination of corrections/corrective actions and approves to close. Looks for trends to decrease number of NCs and provide feedback to management
• Maintains corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system per procedures. Initiates and performs root cause analysis. Uses statistical and capability analysis to solve problems. Implements and verifies CAPAs
• Performs trend analysis of CAPA, NCM, Complaint/Customer Feedback, Risk Management activities, Audits, etc. and presents periodic reports for management review. Assesses Design and any associated activities for manufacturability.
• Adheres to the company’s Quality System (QS), writes and approves QS documents
• Authors and executes Quality Plans for Quality Management Systems and Organizational Objectives projects.
• Support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection personnel in design, methods, tooling, validations, and other areas related to the control of product quality.
• Communicates with customers on complaints, process changes, clarification of specifications, completing customer documents, and other projects as needed
• Conducts studies including Gauge R&R’s to develop inspection methods and test equipment. Creates measurement system programs, when necessary.
• Establishes inspections and sampling procedures to ensure the control of quality at the most economical costs.
• Creates, reviews and approves Equipment Qualifications, Process, Cleaning, and Software Validation, pFMEA and other documentation as necessary.
• Participates in customer and ISO audits.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of the internal audit program, ISO notified body audits, customer audits and FDA inspections, including but not limited to:
  • Serve as an auditor for internal audits
  • Create and maintain internal audit schedule
  • Audit controlled document files in preparation for regulatory inspections and provides support during regulatory inspections and client audits
  • Initiate and execute audits, including developing and documenting the audit plan, leading the audit, generating the audit report, and tracking subsequent actions with the team

• Supports and coordinates activities related to nonconforming material, complaint/customer feedback, deviations, RMA, and CAPA processes
• Provides quality system training for the organization as needed
• Manages review of documents to ensure ISO/FDA compliance of controlled documents lifecycle including annual review management
• Ensures all work is performed and documented in accordance with GMP requirements and existing company policies and procedures

Education and Experience

Required

• Minimum of 2 year degree in Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing or related field; OR certificate in Regulatory Science or Medical Product Development plus 1 year of regulated industry work experience

Desired

• 4 year degree in Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing or related field
• ISO13485:2016 and/or ISO9001:2015 Auditor Certification
• Knowledge and experience with GMP/ISO Standards: ISO 9000/9001, ISO 13485, and FDA 21CFR 820/11 (4/210/211 as applicable)
• 3+ years of quality/regulatory experience in medical device or related industry
• 1 year experience conducting investigations and root cause analysis for complex/advanced issues

• Lead communication activities with respective buyers;

The Plant Manager will successfully lead and direct the local operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance and quality teams. Additionally, the Plant Manager will partner with the business to achieve both short term and long term financial operating goals while aligning with Trelleborg’s Core Values.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develops a strategic manufacturing/capability plan to meet the market needs and organization’s overall business plan and agreed objectives of sales, profit, cash, on time delivery, quality and other performance targets.
• Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
• Ensure facility goals are established and driven to support Corporate Goals and Objectives
• Motivates team to generate sales revenue and profits to meet or exceed budget expectations
• Collaborates with Quality team to ensure SOPs are followed, corrective actions are implemented and repeated occurrences are resolved in a timely fashion
• Partner with Human Resources to determine talent needs, improve employee engagement, performance management and overall alignment to the business unit’s organizational structure
• Works with direct reports to communicate and update goals and/or metrics, illustrating objective evidence of improvement
• Allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
• Set, and monitor the performance of the plant against, standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.
• Provides monthly reports to communicate the financial, KPI and overall management performance
• Research, evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant’s production capabilities.
• Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure that the plant meets it current and future production targets and quality standards.
• Drives key metrics regarding quality and continuous improvement
• Ensures CapEx projects are completed on time and in budget
• Performs process audits to monitor procedure and policy conformance
• Collaborates across functional areas to implement needed improvements (tools, equipment, procedures, forms, training materials, etc.)
• Actively promotes/builds a culture of continuous improvement
• Establish and champion a 5s protocol for the site
• Champion and help drive a top safety culture and clean working environment for all employees, achievement of all environmental and health and safety requirements.

Education and Experience:

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or any related field
• 8 years of operations experience 
• Injection Molding experience preferred
• 5 years experience leading a team
• Previous P&L responsibilities
• Experience with Lean Sigma methodologies

Hours of work

This position is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexi time is available).
