About the Job

As Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and continually improving production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory targets and operational capacity.

Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Sales and Customer Service, you will play a key role in ensuring production stability, on‑time delivery and efficient use of resources. This role is central to supporting performance, minimising risk and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain production schedules aligned to customer demand, inventory targets and operational capacity
  • Produce and manage weekly, monthly and rolling demand and production forecasts
  • Translate forecasts into clear production and inventory plans, adjusting schedules as priorities change
  • Carry out capacity planning across labour, equipment and material availability
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics and operations to ensure materials, capacity and timelines are aligned
  • Monitor WIP, delivery performance, forecast accuracy and planning KPIs, driving continuous improvement
  • Identify and communicate supply risks, maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data and planning reports
  • Support cross‑functional planning discussions while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Degree, diploma or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing coordination
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities

Summary

The Planner uses lean techniques to plan and schedule equipment, human, and material resources for all jobs. Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Schedules all production orders and developmental jobs using visual and computer communications.

  • Uses Lean Enterprise methods to reduce waste and complexity in all processes.
  • Reviews and manages kanbans
  • Manages expired material

Education and Experience

Required:
  •  High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience

Desired:

  • 2-4 year degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Experience with clean room manufacturing

Summary of the Role:

The Customer Support Coordinator (CSC) is responsible for providing and achieving outstanding customer service and total satisfaction to existing and prospective customers while building positive customer relationships to help enable development of new business opportunities.  The CSC is the foundation for customer support providing a source for initial contact for customers.  The CSC is responsible for customer order and quote management to include contract review, price analysis, estimating, purchasing, delivery performance, and general reporting.  This position at times may need to source and purchase product from internal and 3rd party suppliers. 

The CSC works with Logistic and Manufacturing facilities as well as supports Sales Engineers(SE), Application Engineers(AE), Customers Support Account Leads (CSAL), and Management to achieve their goals and KPIs.  As a result of the large team, they often have multiple tasks competing for their time requiring excellent organizational and communication skills.   

In some situations, the CSC may handle accounts within a team or solo.  As a result, they may be required to perform additional duties as needed to support accounts.  

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The CSC can have a variety of tasks and responsibilities that may include but are not limited to: 

Customer Management:

 

  • Ensure contract review is executed in accordance with AS standards and local procedures in a timely fashion 

  • Evaluate customer orders and demand against supplier deliveries in order to meet and exceed on time delivery targets 

  • Provide accurate, data-driven estimates to customers in response to inquiries regarding new and recurring manufacturing orders 

  • Interface with internal teams and external customers to proactively resolve customer complaints  

  • May be required to source and purchase product from internal and 3rd party sources to fulfil customer requirements 

Communication: 

  • Understand and communicate changes to customer demand and requests as needed across the organization. Liaise with internal team members, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Project Manager (PM), and Factory departments to ensure that all activities are aligned with Trelleborg and the Customer’s KPIs 

  • Resolve delivery schedule problems and negotiate delivery schedule changes 

Operations: 

  • Provide proactive communication, analysis, and problem solving to team members 

  • Purchase raw materials and outside services to support production at the facility 

 

Administrative: 

  • Work with logistics facilities to continuously improve transit and delivery times and satisfy or exceed customer OTD targets. 

  • Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with AS9100. 


Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum 1 yr. Customer Service experience required 
  • Associate degree strongly preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus 
  • Knowledge of basic business sales and marketing practices preferred 
  • Experience in the Aerospace, Sealing, or Polymer industry is beneficial 
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements is beneficial 
  • Familiarity with manufacturing is beneficial  
  • Familiarity with order management is beneficial

About the Job

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Strategic Procurement Director has full accountability for defining, governing, and delivering the procurement strategy for the Business Unit(s).
