For the Aerospace Continental Europe Hub office, located in Maisons-Laffitte, we are looking for a Key Account Manager/ Sales Engineer Aerospace Europe (m/f/d).

Scope of your role

  • Develop and monitor customer plans and division objectives, achieving sales and gross margin ambitions
  • Build relationships, make customer visits to discuss common goals, achieving customer satisfaction
  • Promote the strengths and capabilities of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in targeted growth markets
  • Develop new requests for quotations and monitor performances versus the target area and the market segment
  • Work closely with our internal customer service teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate pricing agreements, build and manage customer price lists in line with the business strategy
  • Be responsible for payment of customer’s invoices and actively participate in cash collection
  • Share and update customer files in the dedicated storage areas (Server, Super Office…)
  • Manage the customer account creation, as well as analyse sales performance, and prepare sales budgets

What defines you

  • Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or industry-relevant experience
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success
  • Proven track record of developing new business and closing deals; meeting and exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently in a home office with frequent travel to customers and prospects in the region
  • Highly self-motivated, strong account management and relationship-building skills; SAP system skills is a plus too
  • Able to travel up to 50%, within and outside the assigned region, efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in French & English (in written and spoken), a third European language is a plus
