About the Job

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining all mechanical, electrical, instrument, and control components in both plant equipment and facilities systems and components.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial plant utility systems including Chilled Water, HVAC, Compressed Air, Power, and other systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment modifications as well as equipment failures.
  • Assist with daily routine maintenance.
  • Conducts visual system inspections and monitors system operations/processes to ensure proper operations and to detect equipment failures, potential leaks, or other problem situations; reports maintenance needs to appropriate personnel; performs preventive maintenance checks and procedures on system equipment. 
  • Exchanges information with staff of adjoining work shifts to keep abreast of current operating conditions or problem situations. 
  • Maintains a current knowledge and awareness of applicable laws/regulations; maintains an awareness of new trends and advances in the profession; attends workshops and training sessions as appropriate.
  • Assists production with operational tasks as needed or when maintenance activities are not going on.
  • Other duties, as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology, or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of one - three years in Industrial Maintenance/Engineering Environment preferred. 
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and equipment requirements.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and able to use all necessary test equipment.  
  • Maintenance software experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, CAD, and Microsoft Office preferred. 
  • Experience with PLCs and set up of physical office workstations. 
  • First aid certification preferred.

As an HSE Manager, you will take ownership of creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You’ll lead the development and continuous improvement of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met. This includes assessing risks, guiding teams through audits, planning emergency response measures, and encouraging active employee participation in safety initiatives.

You’ll also oversee our Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001. This includes monitoring environmental impacts, driving reduction measures, coordinating audits, and training staff on key environmental topics. Alongside this, you’ll manage REACH processes, maintain hazardous substances documentation, support compliance with regulations, and act as the main point of contact for fire protection, including planning drills and maintaining prevention measures.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong compliance frameworks, supporting people through training, and promoting a culture where safety and sustainability are part of everyday work. Your expertise will help ensure our operations remain safe, compliant, and environmentally conscious.


Your responsibilities

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with requirements according to ISO 45001 as well as monitoring all aspects of occupational safety
  • Establish, implement, and continuously develop the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities in occupational health and safety (including physical and psychological hazards in accordance with ISO 45001, Sec. 6.1)
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant occupational safety legislation
  • Organize and accompany audits according to ISO 45001
  • Plan and conduct training sessions and emergency measures (e.g. accident response, emergency preparedness)
  • Promote active employee participation in shaping occupational health and safety (ISO 45001, Sec. 5.4)
  • Report on accidents or serious incidents (e.g. amputations, fatalities)

Environmental Protection:

  • Responsible for the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001
  • Monitor and evaluate the company's environmental impacts as well as ensure compliance with statutory regulations
  • Develop, set, and implement environmental policies and objectives
  • Identify and analyze environmental aspects (e.g. waste, emissions)
  • Coordinate and realize measures to reduce environmental impacts
  • Organize and supervise audits according to ISO 14001
  • Conduct and document staff training on environmental topics
  • Integrate environmental aspects into the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001, Sec. 6.1.2)

Waste Disposal Coordination:

  • Act as the REACH Coordinator (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) managing and monitoring all REACH processes

Responsibility for Hazardous Substances:

  • Maintain the hazardous substances registry
  • Manage and update safety data sheets
  • Communicate with authorities regarding hazardous substances
  • Identify dangerous substances (SVHC)
  • Draft operating instructions together with supervisors

Fire Protection Coordination:

  • Revise and maintain the fire protection regulations
  • Implement and supervise measures for fire prevention
  • Serve as contact person for relevant authorities in fire protection matters
  • Plan and conduct fire drills

What you bring:

  • Professional Fluency in German and English

Summary of Role

Manage Pawling Maintenance department team (Maintenance Tech, General Mechanic and Building Cleaner). Maintain a positive and motivational work environment and work with the team on any performance or attendance issues. Areas of concern are Safety, Schedule, production, and time utilization in cooperation with plant production team.

  • Provides hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of systems related to the production equipment.
  • Responsible for building, equipment and grounds. Ensures the facility and equipment are in reliable and clean condition as well as neat in appearance year-round. Participates in vendor / contractor communications and related decision-making activities. Responsible for maintaining adequate spare parts and equipment as well as the purchase of resupply and replacement parts and equipment.

Salary Info

 $100,000 to $120,000 Salary

II. Summary of the role:

  • The Software Configuration Engineer is responsible for building and configuring the project computer systems & implementation of key process software initiatives. The position is intricately connected with the Docking and Mooring products Software Team requiring regular interaction and collaboration with the Melbourne based team.

 

III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives in Trelleborg software configuration, interfacing with Project Engineering and the Software Team.
  2. Project PC Systems:
  • Review project specifications and order/build project computer systems to suit.
  • Install and configure computer operating system in line with D & M project computer specifications.
  • Configure operating systems, software applications, installers, firmware, and drivers for projects.
  • Configure & Deploy Trelleborg software systems for each project.
  • Assist in creating and configuring installers for software systems for each project.
  • Confirm correct firmware and driver versions for each project.
  • Conduct tests using simulators and other tools, prior to Integration and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
  • Assist in Integration, Pre-FAT and FAT where appropriate and at the direction of the Lead Software engineer.
  • Post FAT, finalize and prepare PC systems for shipment.

Other Responsibilities: 

  1. Identify and resolve issues arising from operating system behavior.
  2. Identify the root cause of faults and problems and make appropriate recommendations to reduce the likelihood of repeat occurrences.
  3. Maintain documentation for systems, using existing documentation and if necessary, the development of additional documentation.
  4. When directed by management provide technical assistance and support to Aftersales.
  5. Act as a technical resource in the provision of small projects and upgrades offered through the Aftersales channel.

Make improvements to production rates and reduces scrap by identifying and implementing new and better equipment, processes or human factor methods. Involved in production in troubleshooting production problems with individual components, individual processes and help improve the situation to assure customer delivery dates and superior quality. Review production schedules and engineering specifications to resolve production problems. Participate in determination of product DMR disposition plan and approval. Follow the Quality Management System protocols of IATF 16949:2016. Support Production and Quality department.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years of experience as a Process Engineer or related manufacturing engineering role. Must have: Lean Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with AutoCAD software; Experience with ERP systems; Experience with problem solving tools such as 5 why, Fishbone, and 8D; and Experience with maximum material utilization.

  10. Direct and coordinate personnel in conjuction with Value Stream Supervisors.

At our TSS Cadley Hill site, we manufacture hand-built Aircraft, Engine, and Airframe seals using a wide range of silicones, fabrics, and retaining metals. The moulding process involves hand fabricating silicones, fabrics, and metallic items into a part-specific mould tool, which is built to precise manufacturing specifications and loaded into a compression press to cure under pressure and heat, forming the final product.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Helsingør får biler til at yde mere, fly til at lande stabilt og gravkoen til at bryde igennem det umulige, for vi er 320 engagerede kolleger, der er specialiserede i udvikling og produktion af tætningssystemer til højteknologiske virksomheder inden for hydraulik-, bil-, fly-, skibs-, olie- og maskinindustrien.
