Tasks and Responsibilities

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for leading production and ensuring that set targets are reached in an efficient and sustainable manner. This includes managerial responsibility towards a management level consisting of five team managers and two planners, as well as the overall personnel responsibility for 140 employees.
You are part of the management team and report directly to the GM.

As Operations Manager, you have an important role in the daily operations through daily management/coaching of managers and planners. You are responsible for following up key figures, results, and budget work. You also have an important communicative and representative role towards internal as well as external actors. You are responsible for leading and driving our structured approach for continuous improvement according to Trelleborg Manufacturing Excellence program.

 

Your Background/Your Characteristics

We are looking for a responsive, decisive, and relationship-oriented leader who can create trust and drive production forward.

As the role involves some representation, you should enjoy speaking in front of large groups and handling external contacts.

 

Education, experience, and competencies

  • University education in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience as a Production Manager in industry, preferably the automotive or polymer industry.
  • Experience of leadership and working in a larger organization.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and very good English.
  • Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information, and direction effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully present thoughts, ideas, and information to large groups of people.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with coworkers and company in a leadership capacity.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams, coordinate supplier/customer meetings.
  • Ability to create commitment and drive change.

 

Desired:

  • Experience from the polymer industry and/or the automotive industry.
  • Experience with M3 Business systems, preferably also SAP.
  • Experience in leading and implementing efficiency and improvement work.
  • Experience in customer contact and company representation.
  • Experience from collaborations with international customers.

Summary of the Role:
The Warehouse Team Member has responsibility to ensure that the ServicePLUS Center inventory is appropriately managed. Activity will include receipt, pick and pack of goods, delivery and pick up of goods, and other basic warehouse functions as required.

  • Accurate and efficient receiving picking, processing, packaging, shipping and delivery of customer orders, including basic customer service skills

About the Job

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the primary function of this role is to ensure the manufacturing facility is provided with first-class engineering support. This role will entail development of the organisation to ensure the facility maintains market leading status with an emphasis on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to develop a right first-time culture.

  • Management of the process engineering, maintenance (incl facilities), H&S, and Design departments and workload.

Über den idealen Kandidaten

  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung bevorzugt mit technischer Ausrichtung

About the Job

  4. Working Location: Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Ba Ria & Vung Tau Province, Vietnam (Shuttle bus will be provided from 3 locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa City, and Vung Tau City)

II. Summary of the role:

  • As the Senior Process Engineer, you will have a vital role in improving our manufacturing processes and ensuring smooth execution. You will collaborate closely with our Mechanical Engineer team to offer technical assistance, resolve production challenges, and implement effective methods. Your strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal in finding ways to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Design, devising efficient means to produce parts or products, supporting safety, quality and conferring with management to stay on budget and meet production deadlines.
  • Production know-how: Focus on the manufacturing process through product structure design, standardization of SOP, process control and traceability, and operator training.
  • Technical support: Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer to provide technical specifications and support for raw materials, process exceptions, final inspection, and independent problem-solving.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, capacity ramping up, cost reduction, value stream, and lean manufacturing.

III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Deep diving into product requirements, documenting production procedures, and creating company standards to improve efficiency.
  • Verifying adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and ensuring equipment capabilities meet SOP.
  • Tracking and adjusting Bill of Materials (BOM) and routines to meet expectations.
  • Conducting daily process maintenance and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Quality Department to identify and implement ongoing quality improvements.
  • Developing and implementing production processes for new products and enhancements.
  • Reducing production costs while enhancing productivity.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting production and process data to management.
  • Estimating staffing requirements, production times, and costs for operational decisions.
  • Leading, training, and developing the production team.
  • Maintaining accurate production records for traceability.
  • Attending regular meetings and submitting reports.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree at least in major of rubber / polymer engineering/ chemical engineering.
  • Manufacturing Excellence/Lean six sigma practices is preferred.
  • 5 years or more experience with good background in Rubber industrial manufacturing.
  • Good communication with English.
  • Excellent leadership skills and a desire to work in a team environment.
  • The ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to interpret data and utilize.
  • Excellent in analytical skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A complete understanding of manufacturing processes, horough knowledge of engineering, scientific and other technical information relating to manufacturing

Les missions :

Dans le cadre du développement industriel à l’international de l’entité Trelleborg Boots, et au sein du service industrialisation, le poste a pour missions principales :
