The Maintenance Technician, alongside the Facilities Maintenance Manager, performs all tasks involved in maintaining the facilities and production areas to ensure that all production equipment is in good working order. The position requires an extensive understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. The major duties of the maintenance technician position is to maintain the manufacturing equipment in a manner that will ensure the highest reliability. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure the facilities are as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Requires significant process expertise and experience, the use of independent judgement, high level troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with no supervision.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and PLC controls, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues. Ability to troubleshoot resourcefully with minimal OEM support.
  • Understands programming logic and computer control for CNC and manual (lathe, Bridgeport) machines to be able to efficiently troubleshoot and repair machines.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; and examining form and texture of parts.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate technical problems to OEM suppliers to resolve problems is a timely manner.
    Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

Work Environment
The employee will work both in an office environment and on the production floor. Summary of Role

General Purpose of Position: 
Responsible for curing fabric-reinforced rubber products using special molds following written work specifications.

  • Setting up curing molds following written work specifications.
  • Loading uncured seals into molds and adding necessary performs (sub-components).
  • Clamping molds and setting the appropriate time and temperature in order as required by the work specifications.
  • Assist fellow team members and other teams as required, moving large seals or on other projects.
  • Properly reading and completing required paperwork on job packages and paperless scheduling system
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred 

Experience:  A minimum of two years in a manufacturing environment is desired

Zur Verstärkung des Facility Managements und zur Unterstützung in der Gebäudeverwaltung am Standort Stuttgart suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt Dich als Studentische Aushilfskraft (m/w/d) im Umfang von ca. 20 Stunden pro Woche. Diesbezüglich übernimmst du Aufgaben im infrastrukturellen als auch technischen Facility Management (z.B.  Du übernimmst eigenverantwortlich

  • Zuarbeit und Unterstützung in der Objektbetreuung
  • Wahrnehmung der Schnittstellenfunktion zum technischen Facility Management und der Sicherstellung der Funktionsfähigkeit der technischen und sanitären Anlagen
  • Koordination, Beauftragung und Überwachung von externen Dienstleistern für Facility-Management-Leistungen (u.a. Sicherheitsdienst, Reinigungsdienst, Streudienst, Poststelle, Kantine und Caterer)
  • Steuerung der anfallenden Störmeldungen
  • Unterstützung bei der Koordination und Ableitung von Maßnahmen aus dem Bereich Arbeitsschutz, Brandschutz als auch Arbeitssicherheit

 Dafür bringst Du mit 

  • Technisches Verständnis und Interesse für die Gebäudeverwaltung
  • Studium in der Immobilienwirtschaft oder im Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder ähnliches

Vores værkstøjsafdeling er en servicefunktion under virksomhedens tekniske afdeling, og her vil din faglighed virkelig komme i spil. Værktøjsafdelingens opgaver består blandt andet af fremstillingen af nyt produktionsudstyr samt reparation og vedligeholdelse af virksomhedens værktøjer og produktionsmaskiner. Dine daglige opgaver vil være mangeartede og variere en del fra dag til dag. Opgaverne vil dog primært inkludere:

  • Produktionsforberedelse og klargøring af værktøjer
  • Opstilling, indkøring og kørsel af CNC-maskiner samt programmering og manuelle processer
  • Fremstilling af komponenter fra start til slut, inklusive rapportering i IT-systemer og deltagelse i daglig fejlsøgning
  • Vedligehold/fremstilling af værktøjer/maskiner/sliddele

II. Summary of the role:

  • Follow established engineering principles and responsible for develop manufacturing processes, procedures, documentations where related with electrical & testing aspect to meet the required standards and quality needs. Resolving daily engineering issues for the continuity of company operation. Support in new products/production introductions.

III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand the specification for the products from finished goods to components & raw material level with support from group product design team.
  • Team up with engineering team for the specification improvement (including error feedback and correction)
  • Process drawings preparation (such as Product drawing, Process flow, ect.) and documents preparation (such as WI, OPL etc.)
  • Product BoM preparation, checking and publish. Create and maintain the product master data in ERP system (such as BoM, Routings, etc.)
  • Plan the manufacturing capacity, process cycle time, standard work, etc. Improve and sustain the production efficiency by optimizing processes, work flow, etc.
  • Provide supervision and technical assistance to production staff, and solve the technical issue in daily operation.
  • Support for quality issue analysis, corrective actions and quality improvement.
  • Support QA/QC for the MDR review as the process expertise
  • Manage the Specification to be always updated by means of ISO9001.
  • Support for the supply chain delvelpment in terms of technical review, alternative solutions, ect.
  • Support the new products/production introduction.
  • Supervise and train personnel as required
  • Establish and maintain effective technical communication between TMEQ manufacturing and TMSA

About the Ideal Candidate

I. Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, major in electrical, electronics, automation or similar field
  • More than 6 years’ experience in electrical/electronics industry for product/process engineering
  • Manufacturing Excellence/Lean practices is preferred

II. Competencies:

  • Engineering ability of electrical or electronics products or processes.
  • Be familiar with related engineering software (AutoCAD, E-plan, etc) and be able to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of programming (e.g. C++, VB, PLC, etc) is a plus

  • As the Senior Process Engineer, you will have a vital role in improving our manufacturing processes and ensuring smooth execution. You will collaborate closely with our Mechanical Engineer team to offer technical assistance, resolve production challenges, and implement effective methods. Your strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal in finding ways to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Design, devising efficient means to produce parts or products, supporting safety, quality and conferring with management to stay on budget and meet production deadlines.
  • Production know-how: Focus on the manufacturing process through product structure design, standardization of SOP, process control and traceability, and operator training.
  • Technical support: Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer to provide technical specifications and support for raw materials, process exceptions, final inspection, and independent problem-solving.

II. Summary of the role:

  • As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation related to electrical and testing aspects for our Docking & Mooring product area. You will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and contribute to the flawless operation of our company. III. Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand product specifications from finished goods to components and raw material levels, collaborating with the group product design team.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to improve product specifications, providing error feedback and correction.
  • Prepare process drawings (e.g., product drawing, process flow) and necessary documents (e.g., work instructions, operation procedures).
  • Create and maintain product master data in the ERP system, including Bill of Materials (BoM) and routings.
  • Plan manufacturing capacity, process cycle time, and standard work to optimize production efficiency.
  • Provide technical assistance and supervision to production staff, resolving technical issues in daily operations.
  • Support quality issue analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist QA/QC with process expertise during MDR reviews.
  • Maintain and manage specifications in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
  • Support supply chain development through technical reviews and alternative solutions.
  • Contribute to new product and production introductions.
  • Supervise and train personnel as required.
  • Establish and maintain effective technical communication between Trelleborg Manufacturing and Trelleborg Industrial Solutions.
  • Maintain calibration and records for testing equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

 

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical/electronics industry for product/process engineering.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Excellence/Lean practices is preferred.
  • Strong engineering abilities in electrical or electronics products and processes.
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, E-plan, and the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, VB, PLC) is a plus.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data for process performance follow-up and improvement.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle exceptions effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Job Description

Responsible for the manufacture of special molds and tooling primarily used for: 1) extruding rubber and / or plastic parts as well as 2) splicing and / or molding of rubber

Major Responsibilities:

  • Construct new tooling per instructions
  • Repair existing tooling per instructions or as needed
  • Operation of all machine shop equipment including milling machines, lathes, cut-off saws and EDM machine safety and according to written work specifications
  • Manufacture valve stems using the lathe
  • Repairing and maintaining machines as required
  • Soldering of valve stems made of various metals as required
  • Work with other team members and management to accomplish corporate quality goals of: on time delivery, turnaround time, profitability and returns
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Read, write and comprehend English well
  • Basic computer skills
  • Capability to read and understand drawings, specifications and other engineering and administrative documents.
  • Read, understand and follow written instructions.
