The Production Operator is a key role that supports the production, operations and project teams. The Production Operator is responsible for operating production tools, machinery and carrying out quality control checks. You will ensure that products are assembled and produced to the highest standards, technical specifications and quality requirements. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery, and for following all safety procedures to protect the safety of yourself and your colleagues. You will report to the Production Supervisor. The main office & production facility is based in Westbury, Wiltshire, UK.

The CNC Setup Machinist is responsible for fabricating parts on numerically controlled machine and working from design and specifications, determines machining requirements and prepares a mathematical definition of the part to be produced. They will edit programs as needed as well as ensuring operation of the machines. This position will determine the proper speeds, feed and types of cutters needed to maximize machine efficiency. Prepares input for computer to generate actual machine control program. This position requires following standard work instructions of each required specification ensuring quality production of parts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Education and Experience
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Should have a minimum of 5-7 years CNC experience in a manufacturing environment operating CNC equipment. Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
This position is in the CNC department of a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged standing, walking, squatting, twisting, bending, and reaching throughout an entire ten-hour or eight-hour shift. Must be able to move and handle varying sized tools and dies in a dirty, dusty and noisy environment. Requires lifting to 50 pounds and working with large machinery and cutting tools.
Must wear appropriate PPE for all work activities performed; varies based work
Pay range: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Les missions :
Dans le cadre du développement industriel à l’international de l’entité Trelleborg Boots, et au sein du service industrialisation, le poste a pour missions principales :
- Assurer la mise en place des nouveaux outils de production
- Gérer le stock des pièces
- Suivre les interventions de prestataires
- Accompagner les clients (atelier de production, différents services) sur les opérations de maintenance curative, préventive et prédictive suivant les caractéristiques des équipements
- Assurer les modifications et améliorations des machines et autres moyens
- Être le (la) garant(e) de la satisfaction des clients (atelier de production, différents services)
- S’assurer que l’ensemble des moyens respectent les exigences sécurités réglementaires
- Proposer des actions d'amélioration, de réduction de consommation d’énergie et de réduction des couts de maintenance
Profil requis
