About the Role

The Production Manager will oversee rubber manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. This role is responsible for managing production teams, optimizing processes, and meeting output targets in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet output and delivery targets.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and rubber compounds.
    • Oversee rubber mixing, molding, curing, and finishing processes to maintain productivity and quality.
    • Monitor production KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive waste and downtime reduction.
    • Ensure product quality standards through close coordination with QA/QC and laboratory testing teams.
    • Lead, train, and supervise production staff while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
    • Coordinate with maintenance, stores, procurement, and planning teams for smooth plant operations.
    • Prepare production reports and provide regular performance updates to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Rubber, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering; diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
  • 8–12 years of experience in rubber manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of rubber processing techniques and machinery.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.

Summary

The Planning Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the Production Schedule (PS) while leading demand forecasting activities across the business. Operating in a low-volume, high-mix aerospace aftermarket environment, this role must balance changing customer priorities, engineering changes, repair requirements, and variable demand while coordinating production across thermoforming, CNC machining, finishing, and assembly operations.

The position serves as the central planning function between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Production.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will be focus around production scheduling, demand forecasting, capacity planning, production coordination, inventory and material panning support, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to include the following:

  • Develop and maintain the Production Schedule (PS) for all manufacturing operations.
  • Create realistic production schedules based on: customer demand, capacity constraints, material availability, labor availability, equipment utilization, and lead times
  • Sequence work orders to optimize workflow through the respective departments
  • Balance production scheduling priorities while minimizing schedule disruptions.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and adjust priorities as business conditions change.
  • Coordinate recovery plans for production delays or supply disruptions.
  • Manage finite capacity planning where applicable.
  • Develop rolling demand forecasts using: historical sales, customer forecasts, market trends, and program requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Maintain 3-, 6-, and 12-month production outlooks.
  • Identify demand variability and recommend inventory or capacity adjustments.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting methods.
  • Evaluate manufacturing capacity across: Thermoforming, CNC, Finishing, Assembly
  • Identify production bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
  • Recommend overtime, staffing, outsourcing, when needed.
  • Support long-range capacity planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly with teams' production priorities.
  • Lead scheduling meetings with Production Operations.
  • Communicate schedule changes to all departments.
  • Ensure Engineering Changes (ECOs) are incorporated into production schedules.
  • Prioritize critical customer orders while minimizing overall disruption.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Inventory Control to ensure materials support production schedules.
  • Support cycle count and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Improve scheduling processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Standardize planning procedures.
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
  • Support ERP optimization and planning system enhancements.
  • Track and report key performance indicators including: On-Time Delivery (OTD), Schedule Attainment, Forecast Accuracy, Capacity Utilization, Work Order Aging, Past Due Orders, Manufacturing Lead Time, Customer Request Response Time
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or any related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a management role
  • Experience in MRP (manufacturing resource planning)
  • Experience in Aerospace industry preferred

Inledningsvis är arbetet förlagt till dagtid mellan 09:30-18:00 men vi planerar att införa skiftgång (dag / kväll).


Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har en teknisk bakgrund, gärna med erfarenhet från tillverkningsindustrin. Erfarenhet från CNC-tillverkning, stansning, laserskärning, CAD-hantering är meriterande.

Som person är du praktiskt lagd och strukturerad med förmåga att planera och styra ditt eget arbete. Du är en bra lagspelare, social och har god kommunikativ förmåga då arbetet innebär mycket kontakt med kollegor. Positiv, läraktig och flexibel är andra egenskaper som vi värdesätter högt.

Du har en god datorvana, är praktiskt lagd och behärskar svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

● Setup machines per work order specification.

● Must understand and properly use inserts and tooling.

● Read and interpret blueprints.

● Check product dimensions utilizing proper equipment such as calipers, pi tapes, height gauges, etc…

● Be able to make the proper adjustments to the tool offsets or program to maintain parts that are consistently in tolerance & meet every single specification that the blueprint calls out.

● Read, understand, and abide by all documented safety procedures, operating and maintenance manuals.

● Clean and maintain machinery according to department and Company standards.

● Handle, install, and use raw materials and related fluids

● Refer any issues regarding CNC machines, computers, inspection equipment, tooling/inserts, or any equipment employee sees malfunctioning to leads or supervisors.

● Must be well organized and able to maintain a clean and safe work area.

● Make parts that always meet or exceed all callouts and tolerances on the blueprint and job traveler.

● Make parts that don’t require deburring if it’s possible.

 

APPLIES TO EXPERIENCED MACHINISTS

● Has full departmental knowledge.

● Computer knowledge… good understanding of windows, ability to use MS word, Excel, Scan to Cad, and any other specific software used in the CNC department at Tritec Texas.

● Program and operate any CNC lathe, also willing to learn to operate the CNC mills.

● Check and edit existing programs and have an excellent understanding of g-code.

● Troubleshoot problems when needed not only for yourself, but also for a beginner or intermediate machinist.

● Grinding, ability to sharpen certain tools, grind clearance on a tool if it is required to perform a specific operation and even the ability to grind an entire tool out of carbide stock.

● Must know how to program lathe and lathe with c-axis using GibbsCam software, and willing to learn programming the mill. Be familiar working with Solids in software programming…. creating them & extracting geometry from them.

● Must be able to set the CMM up on parts that already have a CMM program & be willing to learn to program the CMM.

● Must understand how and be able to make any type of mandrels or fixtures, including familiarity with vacuum & vacuum fixtures.

 

● To deburr your own parts per drawing effectively, consistently, and without gouges or any nicks that would damage the part, if they need to be deburred before checking them on the CMM, between milling operations, or just because it is tedious deburring and only should be done by an experienced machinist.

Competency:

ALL CNC MACHINISTS

● Must be able to take directions and communicate effectively.

● Work in a team atmosphere as a contributing member.

● Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

● Must be able to pay close attention to detail for checking parts to prints, and in general have good vision and the ability to notice small imperfections during visual inspections of parts.

Identifies continuous improvement ideas to prioritize and drive improvement efforts in paperwork flow, inventory accuracy, standard work, 6S efforts, and quality control.

Ensure on-time delivery standards are met.

Manages production Leads to sustain change in areas such as safety, quality, and 5S standardization, adhering to standards, and encouraging initiative to improve all processes.

Identifies and works to eliminate non-value added steps in various areas of the production process

Works daily with all departments to ensure proper execution of the workflow and avoid communication breakdowns; jumps in to resolve the situations as needed. 

Participates in all levels of recruitment and disciplinary actions of their staff.

Conducts annual performance reviews for all staff members.

Education and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree preferably with an emphasis in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.  This position should have at least 1 year supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership, mentoring and organizational skills.

Ability to effectively train all levels of employees.

ERP experience a plus

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Equipment Used

This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, and bending.  This position requires approximately 80% of time spent on the production floor and 20 % in a general office environment.  Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Accurately pick material for the job, document the inventory and document appropriately 
  • Use ERP software to record the job for adequate job tracking and costing 
  • Set up the CNC machine 
  • Run parts per engineering specifications 
  • Deburr and partmark as needed

Summary of the Role: 

As an Injection Mold Processor, you will set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. You will monitor production, inspect parts for quality, troubleshoot process issues, perform basic machine maintenance, and help ensure production, quality, and safety standards are met. Working closely with the manufacturing team, you will support efficient operations and continuous improvement efforts.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Issue and dry materials for production jobs.
  • Set molds and tooling using an overhead crane.
  • Process and operate injection molding machines using scientific molding techniques.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Trim gates, remove flashing, and perform part marking as required.
  • Troubleshoot molding processes and perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Operate a forklift to move molds, materials, and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement efforts and production goals.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:30am to 4:00pm 

Education and Experience: 

  • 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience required.
  • Experience or familiarity with scientific molding processes preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plastics processing principles and techniques.
  • Ability to safely operate an overhead crane for mold changes.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Experience using measuring tools to inspect molded parts.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly throughout the workday.

This role requires a hands-on approach to problem solving and a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist with designing, implementing, controlling and optimising all processes and machinery within the manufacturing area and will also support the implementation of our Manufacturing Excellence (ME) projects.


About your responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Production to support operational goals
  • Create and maintain process documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams
  • Monitor and analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing process
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Train production staff on new processes and equipment


What you bring

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a process engineering role within a mass manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, and process control
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and data analysis platforms
  • Project Management experience or certification, desirable

Som laboratorietekniker på driftslabbet har du en viktig roll i att säkerställa kvaliteten på våra producerade gummiblandningar. Arbetet är självständigt och kräver noggrannhet, samtidigt som du har ett nära samarbete med bland annat lager, produktion och utvecklingslabb.

Du arbetar i ett praktiskt och varierat labbflöde där provning, dokumentation och uppföljning är centrala delar av rollen. Arbetstiden är förlagd till 2-skift.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter

  • Utföra provningstester såsom hårdhet, densitet, vulkegenskaper, viskositet, elektriska egenskaper och tejpprovning.
  • Prova producerade blandningar enligt fastställda testplaner för respektive material.
  • Bereda prover och tillverka provkroppar för de tester där detta krävs.
  • Registrera testresultat korrekt i databasen.
  • Godkänna blandningar som ligger inom fastställda gränsvärden.
  • Rapportera blandningar som inte uppfyller kraven eller tydligt avviker från specifikation.
  • Administrera provning som utförs av annan funktion eller externt laboratorium.
  • Säkerställa att utrustningen på driftslabbet fungerar som den ska och är i gott skick.

  • CAPA- Active member of the CAPA team responsible for implementing permanent corrective actions.
  • DMR- Participate in determination of product DMR disposition plan and approval with the VS team.
  • Follow ISO 13485 and 21 CFR part 11 and part 820 and Trelleborg Quality System protocols.
  • Execution of DOE's, problem solving, FMEA's, validations, control plans, continuation engineering for products.
  • Actively Support Production, Engineering and Quality departments.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Instandhaltungstechniker mit elektrischer Grundausbildung (m/w/d)

Deine Hauptaufgaben sind
  • Instandhaltung und Reparatur von Produktionsanlagen und Peripheriegeräte, wie Spritzgussmaschinen, Roboter, Handlinggeräten und Ofenanlagen
  • Mithilfe beim Erarbeiten von Problemlösungen und Prozesssteuerungen
  • Pflege der technischen Dokumentationen
Dein Profil
  • Abgeschlossene Grundausbildung als Elektroinstallateur, Elektromechaniker oder Automatiker
  • ausgewiesene Praxiserfahrung im Betriebsunterhalt (Bereich Spritzgusstechnik zwingend erforderlich)
  • Idealerweise Ausbildung zum Instandhaltungsfachmann
  • Besitz der Anschlussbewilligung Art. 15 gewünscht
  • Technisches sowie elektronisches Verständnis und sicherer Umgang mit Schaltplänen
  • Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Englischkenntnisse von Vorteil
  • Selbständige und präzise Arbeitsweise

Om vores stillinger i produktionen
Vores produktionsafdelinger arbejder med alt fra blanding af råmaterialer, formning af rør og drejning af tætninger på CNC-maskiner til vask, rens, kvalitetstjek og manuel efterbearbejdning af emner.

Arbejdsopgaver i afdelingerne:

Mould – rørproduktion
I Mould arbejdes der med vores råmaterialer i pulverform. Her blandes råmaterialerne i store spande, hvorefter pulveret, under højt tryk, presses til rør i både større og mindre formpressere. Efter rørene er blevet presset, sendes de til sintring, hvor de færdigproduceres i vores ovne. Arbejdsopgaverne kan inkludere tungere løft. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Mould består af:

  • Afmåling og blanding af råmaterialer i pulverform
  • Indstilling og montering af formpressere/kerner
  • Manuel påfyldning og overvågning af formpressere
  • Afmontering og manuel kvalitetskontrol af færdigpressede rør

Drej – drejning af tætninger
I Drej arbejdes der videre med de færdigproducerede rør, som her ved hjælp af CNC-maskiner drejes til vores højteknologiske tætninger. Vi kører alt fra enkeltstyksproduktion med mange omstillinger til højvolumenproduktion, hvorfor der er variation i det, der produceres. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Drej består af:

  • Drejning af tætninger i PTFE og andre plastmaterialer
  • Tilpasning af programmer og værktøjer på CNC-drejebænke
  • Kvalitetskontrol ved brug af manuelt måleudstyr og visionsmaskiner
  • Elektronisk registrering til dokumentation af kvalitetskontrol
  • Bearbejdning i PTFE-materialer

Efterbearbejdning – visuel inspektion, efterbearbejdning og pakning af ordrer
I Efterbearbejdningen foregår den sidste del af produktionsprocessen. Her foregår meget af arbejdet ved manuel og visuel inspektion af tætningerne, men nogle emner kan også have behov for særlig efterbearbejdning i form af vask eller ved, at der laves særlige spor eller huller i tætningerne. Når produkterne er visuelt kontrolleret, skal de pakkes efter ordrernes anvisninger. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Efterbearbejdningen består af:

  • Manuel og visuel inspektion af færdigproducerede emner
  • Vibrationsafgratning samt vask og rens af emner
  • Fremstilling af spor og huller i tætningerne
  • Overvågning og betjening af automatiserede maskiner
  • Pluk og pak af ordrer

QC – kvalitetssikring af produkter før, under og efter produktion
I Quality Control er kvalitet af højeste prioritet. Her kvalitetssikres vores produkter både før, under og efter produktion, og det er QCs ansvar at sørge for, at vores produkter overholder de kvalitetsstandarder, vi lover vores kunder. QC har en bred kontaktflade, og du skal derfor trives i en udadvendt rolle samt være god til at samarbejde og kommunikere med kolleger på tværs af afdelinger. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i QC består af:

  • Stikprøvekontrol af emner i alle størrelser og godkendelse af færdige produkter
  • Kontrol af Notch, Cut og afsyrede produkter
  • Assistere produktionen med måleteknik m.m.
  • Udarbejdelse af manuel og elektronisk dokumentation

Vores produktion kører døgnet rundt, og du vil derfor få mulighed for at arbejde i fast skift fra mandag til fredag på enten dag-, aften- eller nathold. Det er dog sjældent, at vi får ledige stillinger på daghold. Uanset hvilket hold du bliver en del af, sørger vi naturligvis for grundig oplæring og løbende udvikling, så du bliver godt klædt på til opgaven.

For os er det ikke så vigtigt, hvad du tidligere har arbejdet med, eller hvilken uddannelsesmæssig baggrund du har – vi tror nemlig på, at hvis man har evnerne og den rette indstilling, vilje og gå-på-mod, så kan resten tillæres. Det vil dog være en fordel, hvis du har en faglig relevant uddannelse, eller hvis du har relevant erfaring fra tidligere beskæftigelse.


For at vi fortsat kan bibeholde en verdensklasseproduktion, er det et krav, at du er grundig, kvalitetsbevidst og aldrig går på kompromis med kvaliteten. Du skal også kunne begå dig på dansk i skrift og tale samt have kendskab til IT på brugerniveau. Det er også vigtigt, at du kan arbejde selvstændigt, og at du trives med at arbejde alene.
