We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant/Order Administration to join our team in Maisons-Laffite, France. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of customer order processing, including on-time delivery and long-term delivery capabilities through effective forecasting and planning. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Order Handling/Monitoring & Operational Planning:
    • Oversee and manage the entire order processing cycle to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
    • Utilize various tools, such as Priority Request, to optimize delivery schedules.
  • ERP Account Management:
    • Manage account-specific data in the ERP system, including Incoterms and payment terms.
  • Forecasting:
    • Conduct forecasting to ensure long-term delivery capabilities and inventory management.
    • Plan at the item level to meet future customer demand.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Identify and pursue additional opportunities for both new and existing customers.
    • Handle opportunity management and quotes for focus and managed accounts.
  • Item & Order Management:
    • Create items for non-standard requests.
    • Review and approve customer drawings.
    • Manage customer orders, including order entry, status updates, inventory stock review, purchasing practices, and ensuring on-time delivery.
    • Conduct basic contract reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Process commercial complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Support the preparation for and participate in customer visits to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service coordination or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data management.
  • Strong forecasting and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Fluent in French and English.
