We are seeking a skilled SAP Business Analyst with expertise in data migrations for our SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration projects, migrating master and transactional data from legacy ERP systems into SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Analyze legacy data structures, build detailed source-to-target mappings, and define mapping rules for SAP Data Objects.
  • Collaborate with business teams to assemble requirements and drive data cleansing and enrichment activities.
  • Develop and maintain robust, reusable programs using SAP Data Services (BODS), Migration Cockpit, and LSMW.
  • Coordinate the execution of data migration, conduct root cause analysis, optimize performance, and perform post-load evaluations.

  • Perform basic ABAP coding and debugging as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Informatics, Business or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with data migrations in global SAP rollout projects
  • Hands-on experience with professional ETL tools such as BODS, LTMC, SAP FIORI apps, and LSMW.
  • Understanding of SAP data structures and business processes in one or more areas such as Sales, Logistics/Production, and Finance/Controlling.
  • Expertise in SAP Migration Object Modeler, with the ability to craft custom migration objects.
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL Script; basic ABAP coding and debugging skills are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of data modeling and data architecture, preferably in a data warehousing environment.

  • Compile specifications for development and technical implementation (e.g. reports, forms, interfaces & integration etc.)
  • Document functionality, create application manuals and develop training materials
  • Support the creation of Business Cases, participate feasibility studies or PoC’s, prepare work effort estimates for business requests, software change requests, system enhancements or projects
  • Provide Application Support for users, key users and subject matter experts by following Service Desk Processes and usage of the ticketing system
  • Testing of SAP configuration to ensure the system is meeting specified needs
  • Supporting during the various test-phases for systems & applications

Candidate profile:

  • Fluent in English language
  • 3-5 years of work experience in business analyst role in rolling out ERP systems (SAP beneficial, other ERP Systems welcome) in Sales
  • Understanding of industrial / commercial business processes, mainly area of pertinence
  • Able to travel and work effectively in a remote situation dealing with all levels of the organization
  • Proven process application knowledge background (pertinent to the area of responsibility)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to coordinate projects and report status and progress

Scope of your role

  • Work closely with the assigned Manager to ensure the effective delivery of S/4 HANA Support Services within your area of responsibility.
  • Understand and analyze business requirements and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Configure SAP systems (customization, not ABAP development) to meet the identified needs and thoroughly test the solutions.
  • Document system functionality, build comprehensive application manuals, and develop training materials.
  • Coordinate and conduct user training sessions to ensure effective utilization of the system.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions.

What defines you

  • A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required. However, equivalent experience will also be accepted.
  • Experience in completing SAP rollouts.
  • Proficient experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to coordinate projects, and effectively report status and progress.
  • Deep understanding of industrial and commercial business processes, specifically in a Business Analyst role within logistics.
