About the Job

As a Software Developer at Trelleborg, you will be part of a team of developers working on software development for a range of navigation products used worldwide. You will take significant responsibility for cloud applications within the product portfolio and will have a major influence on future development.

Your Role

In this role, you will work in an agile environment, where tasks are distributed collaboratively, and regular status meetings are held. The cloud solutions currently run on AWS and are built in Go, and you will have a strong say in how these solutions are structured and which tools and technologies are used.

The products’ data foundation consists of geographic data and real-world sensor data, processed in real-time. This is why hardware-near technologies are also in play in this department.

However, your primary focus will be on technologies relevant to cloud solutions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Developing cloud applications
Taking ownership of a specific product and leading its development
Setting up tests and conducting code reviews
Contributing to defining the future development direction

About you

To succeed in this role, you need to have a passion for working with cloud technology
You should be curious and enjoy experimenting with different solutions until you find the right one
You take responsibility and initiative in the tasks you work on
You have a relevant master's degree, such as in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering
You have prior experience with cloud solutions, preferably in a company where hardware and software are combined
