Who are we?

Trelleborg India Private Limited, (Business Unit: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) headquartered at Bangalore is a leading sealing solution provider in India. The company with about 800+ employees across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country.  

We are looking for Executive - HR Operations, for our Human Resources department. The location of the position will be Bangalore this role is responsible for ensuring smooth HR processes within manufacturing units. which includes managing daily HR operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing the employee lifecycle, and fostering strong collaboration across teams to drive operational excellence.

About the Job

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR software and physical files.
  • Ensure timely processing of documentation including offer letters, appointment letters, and relieving letters.

2. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance
  • Coordinate with external consultants for audits and inspections.
  • Maintain records and reports required for statutory filings.
  • Ensure OHC and Creche are monitored and updating the records.

3. Payroll & Attendance

  • Collate employee and contract attendance data and coordinate with manager for monthly salary processing.
  • Monitor leave management, overtime records & shift schedules of employees and contract.

4. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Support execution of employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities.
  • Handle grievance redressal and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in organizing training programs and follow up.

5. HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports for management review.
  • Track HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and manpower planning.

6. Hiring Support

  • Experience in Apprentice hiring and knowledge about Apprentice portal.  

7. Coordination & Support

  • Support recruitment coordination and interview scheduling with the placement and institutes.
  • Assist in vendor management for HR-related services.

About the Ideal Candidate

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in human resources or related field.

  • 4 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing setup.

  • Fluent in Kannada and English (spoken and written)

About the Role

We’re looking for a data-driven experienced  individual who thrives on accuracy, analysis, and detail. You’ll play a key role in providing people insights and HR support that drive smarter decisions across the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a compensation and benefits or payroll background, with strong analytical capability and a genuine interest in using data to shape people strategies. You’ll support both local and wider business units — spending one day per week supporting the broader BU team.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Data & Insights: Maintain and analyse HR data to provide actionable insights, dashboards, and reports that inform strategic people decisions.

  • Compensation & Benefits Support: Assist with salary reviews, benefits administration, and ensuring accuracy in payroll-related data.

  • Employee Relations: Support the resolution of employee queries and issues, ensuring fairness, compliance, and timely follow-up.

  • Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity across all HR systems.

  • Policy & Process: Support the review and development of HR policies and procedures to reflect best practice.

  • Performance & Engagement: Assist in managing performance processes, engagement surveys, and follow-up actions.

  • Training & Onboarding: Help identify training needs, support onboarding, and ensure smooth integration for new employees.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team, line managers, and wider business units to align HR activities with business goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven HR experience, ideally within compensation and benefits, payroll, or HR data analysis.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and communicate people data effectively.

  • A confident user of HR systems and Excel, with experience generating HR reports or dashboards.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams and locations.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our Westbury and Halesowen sites.

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) preferred.

This position is a shared resource / strategic business partner to the Northborough Massachusetts Plant Manager and the Menomonie Wisconsin Plant Manager. Summary of the Role: 

Administers designated areas of Human Resources consistent with corporate policies and the collective bargaining agreement. Contributes to an employee relations climate that provides for a stable and productive workforce.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  1. Anticipate staffing needs and manage all hourly recruitment efforts to include: proactively identifying recruiting options, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, scheduling subsequent interviews, administering pre-employment tests, and extending offers. Proactively contact candidates to keep them engaged, informed and organized.
  2. Plan, facilitate and oversee all aspects of onboarding and orientation for all new hires.
  3. Lead and manage the attendance points tracking system and write-ups in accordance with the site attendance policy.  Ensure the system remains current and accurate. 
  4. Conduct investigations and objectively provide guidance to supervisors regarding disciplinary action in accordance with Trelleborg policies/procedures and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  5. Respond promptly to employee issues and escalate when necessary.
  6. Administer various activities designed to achieve and sustain a high level of employee morale.
  7. Maintain employee records, data and reporting with the highest degree of confidentiality.

Education and Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office

 Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a multi-shift union manufacturing environment.
  • HRIS systems experience (UltiPro preferred)
  • PHR, and/or SHRM certification

Competencies: 

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in and environment of constant interruptions
  • Ability to gain the trust, respect and confidence of employees and managers
  • Ability to conduct training in order to communicate various HR topics to large groups of employees (40-50 employees at a time).
  • Ability to proactively identify and implement potential continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience maintaining strict confidence regarding sensitive, protected and/or confidential information
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement
  • Knowledge of HR principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local legal requirements
