About the Job

The HR Business Partner role involves developing and implementing people-focused initiatives, fostering proactive partnerships with business leaders, and translating business needs into actionable HR interventions. The goal is to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and alignment with our business objectives while continuously improving the quality and value of HR services for the organization.


About your responsibilities

  • Organizational Restructuring & Transformation
    • Lead and support restructuring initiatives, organizational redesign, workforce transitions, and cost optimization programs in close alignment with business strategy.
  • Change Management: 
    • Design and implement structured change management approaches to support business transformation, ensuring stakeholder alignment, employee engagement, and sustainable adoption.
  • Strategic Communication: 
    • Act as a strong and credible communicator across all organizational levels, including senior leadership, management, and shopfloor employees, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment during periods of change.
  • Strategic Partner:
    • Collaborate with Local leaders to align HR strategies with overall organizational goals.
  • Talent Management
    •   Identify, attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and policy adherence.
  • Performance Management: 
    • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback.
  • HR Policy and Compliance
    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Workforce Planning
    • Plan and manage the workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Diversity and Inclusion
    • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Legal Compliance
    • Ensure the organization complies with employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • Reporting and Metrics:
    • Provide HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Wellness and Health Initiatives
    • Promote employee wellbeing through health and wellness programs.
  • Succession Planning
    • Develop and execute succession plans to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Legal and Ethical Conduct
    • Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all HR activities.
  • Conflict Resolution
    • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, including disciplinary actions and grievances, fostering a harmonious work environment.


What you bring

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent e.g. CIPD level 5) in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field is required
  • Experience in HR reflecting growth from assistant, specialist, or management positions
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing employee relations.

  • Solid track record in driving change management initiatives in complex and dynamic business environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex and sensitive topics clearly, transparently, and confidently.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our Westbury and Halesowen sites.

We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across two manufacturing sites. This position offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with site leaders while remaining hands-on to support the employees.  Acting as both a strategic partner and trusted advisor, you will develop and execute people-focused initiatives that align with business objectives, foster employee engagement, and drive organizational performance.
As a key member of the HR function, you will provide guidance on a wide range of HR matters—including employee relations, conflict resolution, compliance with employment laws, and talent management—while actively supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. By translating business needs into actionable HR strategies, you will strengthen leadership capability, enhance workforce motivation, and continuously improve the quality and value of HR services delivered to the organization.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoys building proactive partnerships with leaders, and is passionate about making a lasting impact on employees.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize HR analytics to generate reports and insights that inform decision-making.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with employees and leaders, addressing their HR-related needs and concerns. 
  • Succession Planning: Work with HR Manager to develop and execute succession plans to ensure leadership continuity. 
  • Legal and Ethical Conduct: Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all HR activities. 
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, conduct investigations when needed, provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
