About the Role:

As a Contract/Project Manager you will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle: 

• Supporting the Sales team with technical and commercial qualifications. 
• Managing the handover from Sales to Operations and ensure the fulfilment of all the project inputs.
• Managing project delivery efficiency, cost parameters and required quality standards in accordance with contractual obligations and customer expectations
• Manage all aspects of customer relationship / management
• Oversee the activities of the Project Engineering, Software, Production, and Product Development divisions within the scope of the project
• Communicate project objectives to all team members involved
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers

You will be the focal point for internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for leading multiple projects at the same time. The role requires working in a dynamic team with an array of project types, which calls for efficient information processing and decision-making skills.

To be considered for the position the candidate must have:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine based is preferred.)
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant working experience in project engineering or management, with a strong commercial and contract management understanding.  Experience in Major infrastructure projects or niche equipment manufactures will be considered.

Summary of the role:

The Project Manager will support the Aerospace Airframe segment by managing customer projects and completing technical requirements from start to finish. The Project Manager (PM) role is necessary to support TSS target growth segment of aerospace, specifically within airframe customers and applications where projects have a significant degree of requirements. The job requires the ability to manage and lead project teams both directly and indirectly, and effectively communicate commercial and technical concepts with customers. What is the challenge

The primary challenge is the Project Manager's responsibility to collaborate closely with internal and external clients, as specified below, to guarantee the seamless execution of all projects within their purview. • Monitor project schedule and scope to ensure both remain on track. Initiate and implement appropriate actions. Proactively engage in both quality assurance and risk management activities to ensure project results are met according to client requirements.
• Coordinate and drive internal cross functional teams to meet program results.
• Handle technical issues, risks, and priorities.
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Engineer (m/w/d) - Bereich Kunststoff- und Silikonspritzguss

Wir zählen auf Sie und übertragen Ihnen folgende Hauptaufgaben

• Sie bearbeiten selbständig Kundenanfragen, Offerten und Bestellungen
• Sie übernehmen das Projekt-Controlling: Überwachung von Terminen, Kosten und Ressourcen
• Sie entwickeln Werkzeug- und Fertigungskonzepte für Neuprodukte
• Sie überwachen und managen die Neuprodukte von der Entwurfsphase bis zur Serienreife
• Sie sind verantwortlich für die Arbeitsvorbereitung bis zur Musterung/Serienreife
• Sie unterstützen AVOR nach Übergabe bei technischen Belangen
• Sie organisieren Treffen von technischen Projekt-Abklärungen mit Kunden und Lieferanten
• Sie interagieren zwischen Produktion, Konstruktion, Quality, Werkzeugbau, Customer Service, Product Management und Geschäftsleitung
• Sie tätigen sporadische Reisen zur technischen Abklärung

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene technische Grundausbildung, vorzugsweise Werkzeugmacher (m/w/d), sowie eine Weiterbildung (TS oder vergleichbar) mit einer ausgeprägten Affinität zur Technik
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Spritzgiessfertigung oder im Werkzeugbau 
• Freude am konzeptionellem Denken und strukturierter Ideenfindung
• Teamfähig und gewohnt selbständig zu arbeiten
• Gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten in Wort und Schrift sowohl in Deutsch als auch in Englisch
