About the Job

As a Sales Manager at Trelleborg, you will step into a dynamic role focused on developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.

You are the key to securing orders and aligning with our strategic objectives, ensuring that our products not only meet but surpass market demands and customer expectations.

Your exceptional motivation and commitment will be vital to our dynamic team. 

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and gross profit targets while fulfilling regional objectives
  • Develop compelling sales proposals to strengthen and driven our position
  • Lead initiatives to improve sales margins and strategically negotiate orders and contracts
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project management teams, and suppliers for a smooth tender phase
  • Actively promote Trelleborg’s products and services, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Stay informed about product developments, market trends, and industry changes
  • Provide technical advice on Marine Systems products and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships with clients
  • Be prepared for regular international travel as required

About the Candidate:

Ideally you should be in possession of a degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business, with a focus on Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and a preferable minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales Management or Engineering.

You should also possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of technical principles
  • Familiarity with working within multi-cultural environments
