As a member of the Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) Americas team, you will support our legacy ERP, BPCS, as an IT Business Analyst. This role is responsible for defining systems scope, objectives, and functionality based on the needs of the end users and a strong understanding of business processes. The role writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Production support includes business process tickets and various user security-related tickets, including onboarding, offboarding, permissions change, and password resets.
Responsibilities:
- Must work to attain the highest level of competence within the department.
- Analyze organization business processes and systems (financial, manufacturing, procure to pay, etc.) and automate/optimize processes within BPCS
- Respond to support tickets requesting error fixes or enhancements
- Familiar with the complexity of communications and database systems when designing and changing systems that affect these critical components.
- Act as the liaison between the end users and development teams to ensure business needs are translated accurately into development tasks and end results meet user requirements.
- Operates primarily in close partnership with client departments to develop a deep understanding of business processes and to meet their objectives in developing cost, quality and service improvements.
- Train end users on system functionality
- Perform administrative and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- BS or BA degree required.
- At least 1 year experience in an IT Support Role desired
- Microsoft Office package experience desired (word, excel, power point)
- Ticket System knowledge as ServiceNow/OTRS welcome
- At least 1 year of Infor BPCS (Business Planning and Control Systems) experience required.
- Understanding of ITIL concepts welcome.
