- Ownership and completion of weekly and monthly payrolls, including management of the Time & Attendance system.
- Processing payroll-related queries and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Completion of associated general ledger journals.
- Production of monthly headcount and people-related reporting.
- Recharging of costs within the Group.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
- Analysing expenditure for Corporation Tax reporting requirements.
- Supporting the monthly reporting process and submission of results to the Group, including:
- Indirect and Direct Material reporting
- Purchasing and Manufacturing Excellence reporting
- Headbridge reporting
- Sustainability and people data reporting
- Supporting annual stocktakes.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll and finance processes.
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role / relevant field and ideally be AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or similar. You will also have:
· A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to offer a high level of customer service and build strong working relationships with internal customers.
· Ability to retain and not share confidential information
· Be efficient, proactive, self-motivated, highly organized with good attention to detail.
· Numerical accuracy and understand the importance of confidentiality.

Working hours: 37 hours, Monday - Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
