Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for handling customer inquiries, quotations, order processing, and dispatch coordination to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer inquiries, RFQs, quotations, and sales orders.
- Ensure accurate order entry and tracking in ERP systems.
- Communicate order status, delivery schedules, and dispatch updates to customers.
- Resolve customer queries by coordinating with internal teams.
- Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and logistics for timely deliveries.
- Ensure proper sales and dispatch documentation.
- Track shipments and support post-sales activities.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and support repeat business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in internal sales, order management, or customer coordination in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial product sales support.
- Knowledge of supply chain and production planning processes.
- Familiarity with customer order and dispatch management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
