The Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Vietnam. This position involves troubleshooting and optimizing production equipment, improving process efficiency, and collaborating with engineers on new product development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. About the Job
- Daily support for manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production machinery issues to minimize downtime.
- Improve production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with engineers to perform Design of Experiments (DoE) for new products and processes.
- Set up process parameters, machinery, and equipment to support manufacturing activities.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and yield.
- Handle multiple technical tasks both within and beyond assigned work areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to minimize workplace hazards and risks.
Work closely with production operators, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure operations and product quality.
About the Ideal Candidate
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Management based qualifications
Fresh graduated or 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with molding or injection machines is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is an advantage.
Ability to work in rotating shifts
Technical skills in machine operation and troubleshooting.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
