This role is responsible for supporting global administration and management on our activities regarding

• IMDS for automotive customers

• CDX for non-automotive customers

• Setup a Unified Global Materials Management & Compliance Platform

About the Job

  • Create IMDS-/CDX-Datasets about materials, components and parts and propose these to our customers if requested.

    • Excerpt and evaluate the current status of compliance of the relevant materials & parts to be enabled to declare compliance to our customers.

    • Strong global interaction with internal stakeholders like R&D, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain Management (SCM) regarding content-related questions.

    • Communicate with external stakeholders like suppliers and customers globally, about issues of material compliance.

    About the Ideal Candidate
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Polymer Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Polymer Technology

  • Interest in chemistry and fundamental understanding of material science especially regarding Rubber, Plastics & Metals/Alloys

  • Affinity to IT and specifically to databases like IMDS, CDX etc.

  • Experience with declaration of chemical material compliance and with databases like IMDS would be beneficial

  • Preferably knowledge about global legislation on product safety (ex: REACH, RoHs, Conflict Minerals, California Proposition 65).
