As Human Resources Manager, you will serve as the key HR partner at our Trelleborg Medical Solutions Stein am Rhein site, supporting leaders and employees across all core HR areas, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, organizational development, and labor law compliance. In addition to supporting employees and leaders in Stein am Rhein, you will also partner with and support team members at our Stuttgart location. You will help drive business success by building an engaging workplace, supporting people development, and ensuring effective HR processes and practices.


Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with the local leadership team on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and business priorities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, succession planning, and offboarding
  • Advise leaders and employees on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, investigations, and collaboration with the Works Council (Betriebsrat)
  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation, GDPR requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee compensation, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and annual salary review processes
  • Lead performance management, talent reviews, leadership development, and training initiatives
  • Drive employee engagement, culture, inclusion, and retention programs
  • Maintain HR systems, reporting, workforce analytics, and employee data integrity
  • Lead HR projects, process improvements, organizational change initiatives and digitalization efforts

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Law, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Management roles, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of German and Swiss labor law and experience collaborating with Works Councils 
  • Proven expertise across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent development, and organizational change
  • Experience partnering with leaders in an international, matrix organization and leading HR projects, process improvements, and transformation initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems, workforce analytics, and digital tools, with excellent German and English language skills
