Drive Planning Excellence in a Global Manufacturing Business
Are you an experienced production planner looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? Do you enjoy balancing customer demand, production capacity and operational performance to ensure world-class delivery?
At Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, we're looking for a proactive and analytical Master Planner to join our Tewkesbury team. This is a key position within the manufacturing operation, responsible for developing and managing production plans that optimise capacity, meet customer expectations and support business performance.
What You'll Be Doing
As Master Planner, you'll play a central role in coordinating production activities and ensuring demand can be met efficiently and effectively. Working closely with Production, Customer Services and Supply Chain teams, you'll:
- Create and manage production plans and manufacturing orders in line with customer demand, capacity and material availability.
- Develop and maintain capacity planning and finite scheduling processes.
- Monitor production performance and schedule adherence, making data-driven adjustments where required.
- Analyse planning data and produce reports that support operational decision-making.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and capacity constraints, proposing solutions and recovery plans.
- Communicate delivery commitments, delays and recovery actions clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Support S&OP activities and maintain accurate ERP planning data.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems and reporting tools.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You'll ideally bring:
- At least 3 years' experience in production planning, capacity planning, scheduling or supply chain planning.
- Experience using ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
- A structured, organised approach and great attention to detail.
- The confidence to make decisions and challenge where appropriate.
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
