Location Note: This position will be based in Mumbai, India. For administrative purposes, the role is being posted under Ahmedabad and employment/payroll will be managed through our Ahmedabad facility.


Summary of the role

The Jr. IT Technical Architect supports the technical administration, configuration, documentation, integration support, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle activities for key manufacturing, quality, product lifecycle management, labeling, reporting, and shop-floor technology platforms across Trelleborg Medical Solutions. Based in Mumbai, India, this role works under the guidance of senior technical architects and platform owners to help maintain reliable operations for AtomIQ, Loftware, ReportsNow, 1Factory, Teamcenter, SOLIDWORKS, barcode scanning hardware, and related integrations, databases, middleware, and infrastructure components.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Application Support and Administration

  • Assist with configuration, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of assigned manufacturing, engineering, quality, labeling, CAD/PLM, reporting, and shop-floor systems.
  • Support incident resolution, service requests, access reviews, environment checks, and routine platform health activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, support notes, configuration records, and operational runbooks.

Solution and Integration Support

  • Assist senior architects with solution design, integration analysis, technical documentation, testing, and deployment preparation.
  • Support integrations involving APIs, middleware, databases, flat-file exchanges, scheduled jobs, and data synchronization processes.
  • Help validate data integrity and system behavior across connected enterprise platforms.

Project, Testing, and Compliance Support

  • Participate in implementation, upgrade, integration, and application lifecycle projects as a technical team member.
  • Prepare test evidence, support validation activities, assist with release documentation, and contribute to audit readiness requirements.
  • Follow TMS cybersecurity, infrastructure, regulatory, quality, and change management expectations.

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, databases, IT operations, manufacturing systems, engineering systems, or regulated business environments.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL, application support, APIs, system integrations, Windows Server concepts, reporting tools, and IT service management practices.
  • Ability to document technical procedures, follow structured processes, collaborate with global teams, and escalate issues appropriately.

Preferred

  • Exposure to AtomIQ, Loftware, ReportsNow, 1Factory, Teamcenter, SOLIDWORKS, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, MES, QMS, PLM/CAD, or shop-floor technology environments.
  • Experience with barcode scanning devices, barcode printers, label design systems, mobile devices, or shop-floor data collection tools.
  • Interest in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, ERP, PLM, database administration, cybersecurity, ITIL, or project delivery certifications.

  • Primary working location is Mumbai, India, supporting global TMS platforms and project teams.
  • Key interfaces include IS Technical Services, senior architects, developers, analysts, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Business Process Owners, site users, and vendors.
  • Domestic or international travel up to 10% may be required based on project, site, training, or support needs.
