Trelleborg Industrial Solutions (TIS) is a global leader in innovative polymer-based solutions for key industries and critical infrastructure. We are one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group, with a total of about 6 200 employees around the world. Within TIS, our Digital Solutions IT organization drives the digital transformation of the business, delivering effective digital products and services that support operations across the business area.
About the Job
As Head of Product Management, you will lead the Product Management department within Digital Solutions (BA TIS IT), ensuring that digital products are prioritized, developed and continuously improved to deliver measurable business value. You will also be responsible for developing your team members and strengthening engagement, while contributing to the overall Digital Solutions strategy and performance.
You will lead the translation of the Digital Solutions strategy into departmental strategy and goals, ensure effective allocation of team members across projects, and represent the department on the Digital Solutions leadership team. You will have direct reports including Product Managers and Business Analysts, and you will report to the BA TIS IT Director.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Translate Digital Solutions strategy into departmental strategy, goals, OKRs and KPIs
- Own and continuously develop the Product Management framework, ways of working and governance across Digital Solutions
- Drive product portfolio management, including product ownership, lifecycle management, roadmaps and priorities
- Ensure product priorities and investments are driven by business value, user needs, strategic alignment and measurable outcomes
- Strengthen collaboration between Product Management, Development & Support, business stakeholders and other Digital Solutions functions
- Allocate team members across projects and resolve conflicting resource demands in collaboration with other department managers
- Manage departmental costs, finances and approved spending
- Report outcomes, costs and risks, and escalate key decisions and dependencies when needed
- Lead people processes including goal setting, performance reviews, development and salary discussions
- Represent the department in the Digital Solutions leadership team and contribute to decisions on recruitment, consultant hires and significant product investments
- Take part in the Project Portfolio Management forum, including decisions on project initiation, closure, resource allocation and escalated project constraints
This is a global role within Digital Solutions, with travel estimated at up to 20–30 days per year depending on project and stakeholder needs.

You are comfortable operating in a matrixed, cross-departmental environment, and you remain resilient and adaptable when balancing competing priorities and resource constraints. You take initiative and ownership, with strong integrity in your decision-making.
Minimum requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant of relevant experience in product management, digital solutions or IT, including experience leading and developing teams
- Proven experience managing costs, resource allocation and cross-functional stakeholder relationships in a matrixed, international organization
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience coaching and developing Product Managers and Business Analysts
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate high-level strategy into departmental goals.
- Solid understanding of product management practices, ways of working and digital product development
- Financial ownership, including cost management and resource planning
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
