Our Pipe Repair headquarters in the USA is currently based in Escondido, California along with support facilities in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Milford, New Hampshire, Sarasota, Florida, Ancaster, Ontario, and Ajax, Ontario.
About the Job
To aid with our current rapid growth in the US market we are seeking a Field Applications Technician to provide technical expertise and customer support and training for our UV mainline equipment and pipe repair products. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with global teams. As Field Applications Technician you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and training of Trelleborg UV curing equipment. The field Applications Technician is responsible for technical on-site training and co-ordination with UV CIPP manufacturers to ensure successful installations with new and existing customers.
Ket Responsibilities
- Act as point of contact for technical inquiries regarding the proper use of Trelleborg UV curing equipment
- Provide on-site support and training of Trelleborg products and equipment.
- Project coordination and support to help customer installation success.
- Assist with product testing, certification, and approvals in cooperation with R&D; headquarters in Germany.
- Mandatory use of CRM.
- Cultivate strong relationships within the industry network.
- Attend construction meetings on behalf of Trelleborg and customer.
- Immediate availability to assist with troubleshooting equipment.
About the Ideal Candidate
- University graduate in electrical or electronics engineering preferred
- Industry certification regarding electronics manufacturing and repair
- Underground utility product experience, especially in pipe repair techniques using fiberglass and UV curing systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UV mainline.
- Experience in public works/civil construction and equipment maintenance
- Experience in working within a team environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
- Excellent knowledge of English, and other language is a clear positive point
