About the Job

Customer Service is responsible for ensuring that customers receive optimum support within the scope of its activities. Main responsibilities include order handling and operational planning.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Act as the customer’s point of contact for all order related topics
  • Customer creation and amendment
  • Customer order management including basic contract review, order entry, order status, inventory stock review, purchasing practices, and on-time delivery
  • Comply with minimum order and line values, as well as profitability expectations
  • Ensure the ability to deliver through planning activities
  • Monitor sales KPIs and define measures for their fulfilment
  • Manage all required account specific data in ERP (e.g. Incoterms, payment terms)
  • Communicate and coordinate customer order related requirements throughout the supply chain (SCM, Manufacturing, ServicePLUS and others)
  • Request legal and customer required certificates
  • Process customer commercial complaints
  • Work in collaboration with the team to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Support preparation of and participate in customer visits, in case necessary
  • Optional – Quoting and Opportunity Management for Housed Accounts
  • Further tasks according to the RACI Matrix and sales processes in IMS

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Commercial training, technical school degree or equivalent
  • Experience in commercial activities
  • Knowledge about core tools, processes & norms in Automotive industry like IATF 16949 standard (Automotive Area)
