About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in analysing, designing and improving production processes to ensure safety, quality and efficiency. This role is hands‑on, data‑driven and central to our commitment to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and support operational stability.
  • Implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods.
  • Support Manufacturing Excellence (ME) projects and contribute to CI culture development.
  • Create and maintain process documentation including SOPs, work instructions and process flow diagrams.
  • Monitor production performance and analyse KPIs to identify and act on improvement opportunities.
  • Support the successful introduction of new products, materials and manufacturing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot process‑related issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all regulations.
  • Train and guide production colleagues on new processes, equipment and standards.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years’ experience in process engineering within manufacturing or industrial production.
  • Good understanding of automation, process control and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (certification desirable).
  • Proficiency in CAD, process simulation and data analysis tools.
  • Project management knowledge or experience is an advantage.
  • Please note: Due to the nature of the work and high-level security requirements, we can only consider applications from UK British citizens who do not hold dual nationality.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and structured approach.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Confident communicator able to share information clearly with different stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and comfortable driving change.

Why Join Us?

At Trelleborg Polyurethane Products, you’ll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact on production efficiency, product quality and process innovation. You will work collaboratively across Production, Engineering, Quality and R&D, gaining exposure to a broad range of technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

We value curiosity, teamwork and a commitment to Manufacturing Excellence and you’ll have the support, tools and environment to develop and succeed.
