Summary of the Role:

This role is responsible for supporting the definition and implementation of CAD and PLM solutions in collaboration with global business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective, industry-standard solutions. It involves maintaining existing systems and developing new solutions based on user feedback, aligned with industry best practices.

The position Senior IT PLM System Engineer also focuses on identifying opportunities to simplify applications and improve overall system efficiency. Additionally, it supports the global standardization of business processes and leverages data analysis to identify root causes, resolve errors, and address operational issues, ensuring continuous improvement and reliability.

About the Job

  • Administer Teamcenter, including license management, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and patch updates.
  • Independently implement system enhancements to improve performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on high-impact and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of end-user and customer satisfaction by optimizing current business processes.
  • Perform functional analysis and define detailed functional requirements.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain a stable and reliable PLM environment.
  • Manage data migrations as part of Teamcenter PLM rollouts to new locations.
  • Provide support to users and key users through an established Service Desk/ticketing system, focusing on incident and problem resolution; deliver end-user training where required.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a project team to deliver solutions within defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Siemens Teamcenter product configuration.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
  • Continuously improve and optimize system architecture to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter and NX projects.
  • Strong understanding of Siemens Teamcenter architecture and data model.
  • Experience with Active Workspace Client (AWC) customization.
  • Proven expertise in BMIDE configuration and deployment.
  • Working knowledge of Siemens NX and its integrations.
  • Knowledge of CATIA–Teamcenter Integration (TCIC).
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully handling and delivering projects.
  • Experience with ERP integrations such as T4S or T4EA is preferred.
