Summary of the Role:
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of CAD and PLM solutions while collaborating with global business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective, industry-standard solutions. It involves maintaining existing systems and developing new solutions based on user feedback, aligned with industry best practices.
The position Junior IT PLM System Engineer also focuses on identifying opportunities to simplify applications and improve system efficiency. Additionally, it supports the global standardization of engineering tools such as CAD, CAM, and CAE. The role includes performing data analysis to identify root causes and resolve errors and operational issues, ensuring continuous improvement and system reliability.
About the Job:
- Administer Teamcenter, including license management, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and patch updates.
- Independently implement system enhancements to improve performance and usability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on high-impact and strategic projects.
- Ensure high levels of end-user and customer satisfaction by optimizing current business processes.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain a stable and reliable PLM environment.
- Provide support to users and key users through an established Service Desk/ticketing system, focusing on incident and problem resolution. Deliver end-user training where required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a project team to deliver solutions within defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter product configuration.
- Experience in Siemens NX customer defaults administration and NX Open scripting.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop new tools and web applications to support and enhance the CAD user community.
About the Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter and NX projects.
- Strong understanding of Siemens Teamcenter architecture and data model.
- Experience with BMIDE configuration and deployment.
- Working knowledge of Siemens NX, including integration and customer defaults management.
- Experience in NX Open automation scripting.
- Knowledge of CATIA–Teamcenter Integration (TCIC).
- Proficiency in Workflow Designer for process automation and workflow management.
