- Project Management from concept until handover to the production.
- Lead and support strategic manufacturing technology project, set up new manufacturing process, standardization for global alignment including factory expansion and green field project.
- Simulation and design of tooling and product .
- Continue to expand the 2k / 3k Multi K (elastomer/metal/plastic) technology including automation, inspection, or assembly.
- Propose and run projects related by manufacturing technology through the ME initiative
- Work closely with Material technologist to optimize Material processing.
- Intensive travelling to our manufacturing sites essential.
- Project coordination between the TSS plants and the suppliers (supplier development).
- Standardization of project and process documentation.
- Contribute with innovative process in the field of elastomers / plastics manufacturing technology.
- Utilize project analyses tools including Six Sigma, lean manufacturing tools.
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- Insight in manufacturing technologies for rubber, plastics and LSR. Experience with injection molding and rubber over molding of plastic are advantageous.
- Must be fluent in English
- Good command of other languages is an asset
- Availability for frequent travel (overseas)
