About the Job
We are seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the business unit’s financial, accounting, and administrative functions. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to operations and senior leadership while ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting.
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial management, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and team leadership. This role also serves as the local Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead the full accounting cycle for multiple revenue and business streams
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results for operations, corporate, and government reporting
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
- Analyze financial performance, explain variances, and prepare monthly management discussion and analysis
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial projections
- Develop and deliver corporate reporting including risk assessments, improvement initiatives, and sales analysis
Tax, Audit & Compliance
- Submit tax filings and required reporting to corporate and government agencies
- Serve as Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to corporate governance, policies, and internal controls
- Lead internal and external audits, including financial and legal reviews
- Prepare documentation for the Annual General Meeting
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Support
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team across AP, AR, Cost Accounting, and General Accounting
- Partner with Legal, Internal Control, Tax, IT, and other corporate functions
- Support and coordinate local IT operations and ERP implementations
- Act as custodian of company assets, including lease administration and property insurance valuations
- Review and prepare capital expenditure requests
About the Ideal Candidate
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5+ years of senior‑level accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis
- Experience with ERP‑integrated systems (implementation experience strongly preferred)
- Solid background in standard cost accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
