IT M&A Integration and Lifecycle Manager

As IT M&A Integration and Lifecycle manager you will be a key member of the Trelleborg Industrial Solutions IT organization to orchestrate M&A transitions and strategic IT lifecycle initiatives.

This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic driver who can navigate the complexities of a global industrial IT landscape. You will be responsible for leading and evolving sustainable IT lifecycle management and M&A integration activities.

You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution, ensuring our IT landscape is secure, supported, and ready for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and adhere to enterprise architecture standards to ensure a consistent, secure, and scalable IT landscape across the organization.
  • Support M&A initiatives by leading and assessing technology environments, identifying integration risks, shaping IT transition and execute consolidation / integration plans to migrate them to corporate standards.
  • Oversee and lead the full lifecycle of applications — from introduction and operation to retirement — ensuring alignment with business priorities, cost efficiency, and technical sustainability.
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle planning and optimization, including capacity, refresh strategies, technology modernization initiatives and take a proactive approach to decommissioning redundant systems and streamlining the global IT footprint to reduce operational risk.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate new technologies, define architectural roadmaps, and guide solution design decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, IT security principles, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Provide expert guidance to business and IT stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into actionable architectural solutions.
  • Drive workstreams for integrations and/or separations, including identity, infrastructure, applications, data migration and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering based qualifications or certification.
  • 8+ years in IT Infrastructure, with significant experience in Lifecycle Management and Post-Merger Integrations.
  • Experience managing projects and working in a team-orientated manner.
  • Experience working in a culturally diversified, complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with vendor management and cross‑functional delivery in complex environments.
  • Experience in communication management with all organizational levels (co-workers, managers, steering committee, third party vendors) from different countries and culture.
  • Excellent English skills; ability to translate complex technical risks into business-oriented language for executive stakeholders.
  • You have the seniority to lead global initiatives and influence stakeholders, but you are equally comfortable operationally to help execution teams solve technical roadblocks

Successful candidate will have strengths in the following:

  • Ability to set clear expectations and clearly express ideas and concepts both verbally and in written form to a variety of audiences.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving mindset with ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Strong understanding of IT domains: networking, identity (AD/AAD), security, hosting, workplace technologies, and business applications.
  • Ability to effectively lead a cross-functional, culturally diverse team towards a common goal.
  • Ability to manage own work schedule (good self-management skills).
  • Possess initiative and passion to strive for excellence and exhibit an eye for detail.
  • Structured and highly organized with strong ownership mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty—especially during M&A transitions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Resilient under pressure, with an ability to keep teams aligned and focused.
  • Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
