Who are we?
Trelleborg India Private Limited, headquartered at Bangalore is a leading sealing solution provider in India. The company with about 800+ employees across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country.
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Regional Manager for Damping Solutions to lead and grow our business operations across India. This position carries wide regional responsibility for both product families—brake components and technical laminates—and requires strong customer orientation, technical coordination, and project management capabilities.
You will oversee multiple development projects, working closely with automotive OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, and partners in both OE and Aftermarket sectors. The role involves daily collaboration with our Tech Center Manager in India, global Tech Centers, R&D teams, and the Swedish Headquarters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and drive existing customers and ongoing projects, ensuring successful execution and completion.
Take over and further develop existing customer accounts, while identifying and acquiring new customers and applications aligned with our product portfolio.
Identify business opportunities and applications that fit the company’s overall strategy and product roadmap.
Deliver technical presentations at customer sites and industry exhibitions.
Capture and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) within the organization, ensuring current and future customer needs are addressed.
Act as the primary interface for commercial and operational matters, including customer payments, delivery coordination, and warranty-related issues.
Work in close coordination with the TSS Damping Solutions teams worldwide to exchange information, customer contacts, and business opportunities.
About the Ideal Candidate
Education & Experience:
Mechanical or Automotive Engineering degree preferred.
Experience or knowledge in NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) is an added advantage.
Competencies:
Fluent in spoken and written English, required for daily communication in an international environment.
Proven experience working effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Empathetic, open-minded, and curious, with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
