We're looking for an Inspection Viewer, where you'll be responsible to inspect / sort the Company’s O Rings for safety critical applications according to stringent quality standards at a satisfactory output level through the effective use of equipment and time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a cell which manufactures O Rings for safety critical applications and continually inspect according to stringent quality standards.
- Carry out operations as defined by production leading hand.
- Work with a magnifying lens as supplied by the Company to a safety critical Fuel and Brakes application standard.
- Work efficiently on Belts, Line O/D, Palm & Line and Microscope.
- Refer to production supervisor any defect or blemish or non-conformance batches, which precludes job from being inspected correctly.
- Ensure maximum production output is achieved.
- Ensure working area is kept as tidy as possible, keeping only one type of job at any specific time.
- Ensure parts awaiting inspection, inspected and parts declared scrap are kept apart and clearly marked, depending on status in containers.
- Ensure any control / attribute charts are supplied where necessary and completed as required.
- Carry out all work activities in compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety Regulations.
- Be prepared to work on a rotating shift basis, or on set times as directed by the Company.
- Can, when required, be transferred to other areas within own SBU or if necessary to a different SBU.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with official QA procedures
What we are looking for:
A secondary level of education is necessary to understand various quality standards, fill in control / attribute charts and production paperwork. Training will be received to ensure periodic updating of quality regulations / standards. Judgement and concentration are needed to consistently reproduce good quality inspection at all times. English and Maltese proficiency is an asset.
