ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Accounts Booking, Review and Month-end Closing:
• Booking of all AP invoices, prepare and provide file for payments via e-banking, booking of all payments and preparing bank reconciliation
• Inter-company, suppliers and customers reconciliation
• PPV analysis
• Responsible for prepaid expense journal, accruals and booking of all employee’s expense forms;
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of General Ledger journals and reconciliations to General Ledger as per the closing time schedule provided by the Group Finance;
• Maintain fixed assets registers for accounting and tax purposes;
• Issue sales invoices for services and credit notes;
• Participate in monthly closing process, ensure accurate and timely completion of month end close and fixed assets activities in accordance with IFRS, participate in the preparation of monthly and year-end reports;
• Participate in monthly and year-end inventory count and GL/Inventory reconciliation;
• Propose improvements
Support local finance management in the preparation of:
• VAT returns and VIES;
• Intrastat;
• Other local statutory and intercompany reports.
Reporting to and working closely with the local Chief Accountant.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in Finance, Economics or a business related subject;
• 2 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing company
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Very good knowledge of accounting principles;
• Experienced user of Microsoft applications and accounting software. Knowledge of ERP systems would be considered an advantage;
• Ability to work with strict and tight deadlines, attention to detail and accuracy;
• Accounting experience in a production company is an advantage.
