The purchasing community in Trelleborg Antivibration Solutions is in a very exciting phase of growths and changes. The Team
The strategic purchasing community in Trelleborg Antivibration Solutions is represented by a very divers team of professionals around the world. You will work closely with colleagues in UK, China, India, Finland, Switzerland and Germany. A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with a one-team demeanor describes the purchasing department best.
Your responsibility
- Initiation of cost reduction projects and leadership of cross-interface teams
- Securing process approval of new suppliers and implementation of process improvement potentials
- Primary data maintenance of purchasing-relevant master data in SAP or M3 (material master, info record, source list, etc.)
- Price-related invoice clarifications
- Escalation management in case of supplier problems
- Continuous processing of inquiries, obtaining quotations and evaluate offers
- Compilation and evaluation of statistics within the scope of duties, identification of improvement potentials, active participation in the continuous improvement process
- Active cooperation in the realization of the key figure targets for the purchasing department including saving activities
- Initiating and tracking sample orders
- Conducting quality, price, and contract negotiations with the suppliers
Your profile and skills
We are looking for somebody who is a good fit for our team, enthusiastic and with a can-do attitude.
To make changes happen, we need you to be willing to go the extra mile and be an ambassador for new processes and structures. You need to work responsibly and independently, but at the same time as a great teammate.
- Graduated with a University degree in Supply Chain Management/Business/Engineering or with equivalent skills and knowledge
- Well experienced in purchasing
- Structured and organized character with an excellent time management
- Multitask to handle various projects at once
- Enjoy bringing in new ideas and striving for process optimizations whenever you see the potential
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Proficient in English and German
- SAP knowledge
