About the Role:
As a Contract/Project Manager you will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle:
- Supporting the Sales team with technical and commercial qualifications.
- Managing the handover from Sales to Operations and ensure the fulfilment of all the project inputs.
- Managing project delivery efficiency, cost parameters and required quality standards in accordance with contractual obligations and customer expectations
- Manage all aspects of customer relationship / management
- Oversee the activities of the Project Engineering, Software, Production, and Product Development divisions within the scope of the project
- Communicate project objectives to all team members involved
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
You will be the focal point for internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for leading multiple projects at the same time. The role requires working in a dynamic team with an array of project types, which calls for efficient information processing and decision-making skills.
To be considered for the position the candidate must have:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine based is preferred.)
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant working experience in project engineering or management, with a strong commercial and contract management understanding. Experience in Major infrastructure projects or niche equipment manufactures will be considered.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commercial and project management skills focused on contract controls and effective scheduling.
- Flexible and a fast learner that can operate independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good at working within a team environment to communicate, motivate, and engage others to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Results focused, willing to problem solve and give additional input as and when required to meet customer’s requirements.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure, with effective time management.
- MS Project knowledge is a plus.
