Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for innovation? We are looking for a Software Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in configuring project PC systems, implement process improvement initiatives and supporting Aftersales to ensure seamless software and system performance.
What you will do:
Projects/Operations:
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the software configuration space.
- Collaborate with Project Engineering and Software Teams to build and configure project PC systems tailored to specifications.
- Configure operating systems, software applications, installers, firmware, and drivers for projects.
- Test systems using simulators and tools before integration and FAT.
- Provide support during FAT, integration, and final PC system preparation for shipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems and software applications.
Aftersales Support:
- Act as a technical resource for Aftersales, providing support for small projects and system upgrades.
- Develop solutions for legacy systems and occasionally assist onsite for complex technical challenges.
Documentation:
- Maintain and develop system documentation to support ongoing operations and improvements.
What we are looking for:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science with a strong technical focus.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with software development languages is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design tailored solutions.
- Creative, goal-oriented, and cooperative.
- A proactive attitude with a strong sense of integrity and initiative.
- Open to seeking help and providing support to ensure team success.
