As a Segment Manager (m/f/d) you will play a central role in driving our growth strategy in the Life-Science and Medical Device sectors. This pivotal position at Trelleborg Medical Solutions allows you to lead central initiatives, collaborating with sales teams, customers, and manufacturing sites. Your goal is to surpass sales and profit targets, nurture outstanding customer relationships, and provide innovative solutions that distinguish us in the industry.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass sales targets by successfully implementing central initiatives and ensuring project conversions for key customers.
  • Profitability: Detailed deliver on profit goals through meticulous planning and execution.
  • Customer Focus: Foster and maintain positive relationships with strategic customers, ensuring their happiness and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement both short- and long-term sales plans for key and growth customers, using our Sales Excellence Tools.
  • Market Analysis: Thoroughly gather and analyze data on customers, competitors, and market trends to advise our strategy.
  • Build and implement a strategic plan for the Life-Science Business Unit, aligned with the TMS Global Strategy.
  • Innovation: Identify and develop essential business skills and product offerings required to compete and excel in the Life-Science segment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to establish and prioritize customer action plans, ensuring alignment with our company objectives.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Proven experience in marketing, sales, or engineering management.
  • Educational background in Business or Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong technical competence, with the ability to read and interpret technical prints.
  • Solid understanding of business sales and marketing practices.
  • Knowledge of rubber/plastic products and ISO quality requirements is helpful.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (additional languages, particularly German, are a plus).
  • Customer-focused approach with a positive, professional, and can-do attitude.
