About the Job
A Assistant Quality Control Engineer is essential within Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure as they act as gatekeeper for product release. Their goal is to secure high quality material for their company.
Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager, you are responsible to assist the Quality Control Engineer for assessing the quality of the product from the aspect of the specification, technical implementation, and performance, to providing meaningful feedback to other teams.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as project manages and Design team, to create effective quality plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in technical aspect, as well as communication ability.
- Assist the Quality control Manager/Engineer to :
•Monitor and control the product Quality of suppliers and sub contractors.
•Ensure that QC inspection work proceeds in accordance with project quality plan, control procedures and inspection procedures
•Tabulate and document data(e.g. Report, MDR & etc) relating to products, processes, materials, its qualities and reliabilities
•Co-ordinate with Project Managers, suppliers and sub contractors regarding all Quality related issues
•Monitor and control the Quality control function carried out by the suppliers and sub contractors.
•Audit materials provided by suppliers to assure quality before incorporation into the product
•Ensure documented calibration and measurement system analysis results of all measuring equipment
•Investigate causes of quality problems and proposing solutions
About the Ideal Candidate
