Finance Controller (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to ensure the timely and accurate generation of management and financial reports. This role involves the effective dissemination and distribution of financial information to senior management. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality decision support to the BA VP Finance, BA President, and EB level management, acting as the key "right hand" to the BA VP Finance. The responsibilities of this role will grow over time, offering significant opportunities for professional development. Ideally, the candidate should be based in Stuttgart (Germany), Trelleborg (Sweden) or any other Trelleborg location in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting

• Consolidate and analyze Mid-Month Reports
• Prepare the Business Area Monthly Report and perform all related analytical work
• Manage other routine Group Reporting
• Monitor and report on CAPEX
• Monitor and report on Working Capital
• Monitor and manage Excellence Programs
• Report on Leading Indicators

Other Reporting

• Compile the BA Quarterly Report
• Follow up on Capex and Restructuring Projects 
• Conduct Internal Control Reporting
• Manage Disputes Reporting
• Prepare Ambitions Presentation Slides and perform related analysis
• Conduct Market Intelligence, including Segment, Product & Customer Analysis
• Prepare Expense Budget Management and Operating Gross Margin Slides and perform related analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Internationally recognized professional qualification desirable
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multinational business environment
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
• Strong technical financial abilities
• Experience with multi-site reporting systems
• SAP experience is beneficial
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Demonstrates leadership potential
