Trelleborg Pipe Seals develops, manufactures, and supplies equipment and materials for pipeline construction, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation. 

Our Pipe Seals headquarters in the USA is based in Milford New Hampshire along with a facility in Bonne Terre Missouri. 

To aid with our current rapid growth in the US market we are looking to recruit a person in the position of Business Development Manager, USA.  The position is to be based in Milford NH or home office.

Areas of responsibility

  • Region   - Business development USA (Sales territory to be defined)
  • Sales, margin, market share and budget targets of the region
  • Key focus on specification and approval of our core products at government, state and municipal level.
  • High level contact with industry leaders
  • Education of engineers in the positive benefits of Trelleborg Products to influence project specifications
  • Maintenance and follow-up of existing customers
  • New Customer Acquisition
  • Providing the customer with technical solutions for the Trenchless Repair of Sewer Systems
  • Ability to do product demonstration of the various systems as well as to do field site support
  • Contribution and development of new and current marketing strategies
  • Sales planning & reporting
  • Mandatory use of CRM
  • Develop a market intelligence on markets, customers and competitors
  • Business development of pipe rehabilitation product areas
  • High level technical sales
  • Build and maintain key network and be active in related professional organizations
  • Provide technical presentations, seminars, papers etc.
  • Contribution and development of new and current marketing strategies
  • Sales planning
  • Develop a market intelligence on markets, customers, and competitors
  • Ability and desire to travel 50%
  • Reporting to Product Group Manager, Pipe Repair USA  

Qualifications and experience:

  • Ideally University graduate in Business, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical), Environmental Studies
  • 2-10 years experience in technical sales and construction related field
  • Experience in water / wastewater design, construction and maintenance
  • Registered P.E. would have a distinct advantage
  • Experience in working within a team environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of English, and other language  is a clear positive point
