For the Aerospace Continental Europe Hub office, located in Maisons-Laffitte, we are looking for an Export Control Assistant (m/f/d). In this role you will be participating to the export compliance of the company within the frame of its military activity in the Business Unit “Aerospace Hub Europe” on the basis of the national and international regulations.
Scope of your role
- Generate, maintain up-to-date and share appropriately the export control documents needed to operate orders for military products in connection with internal Customer Services, manufacturing plants, and logistic centers
- Prepare the supporting documentation to address export licence control requests to the French authorities
- Support the reporting obligations of both companies to the French Authorities in the “post-licence” phase
- Release military orders within the systems (SAP and/or 4th Shift)
- Contribute to the external and internal compliance audits and to the organizational and operational harmonization process in the Aerospace Hub Europe
- Support the Contract Manager for the review of customer agreements such as NDAs and contract renewals or amendments
What defines you
- Lower Law, or Export Sales Administration Degree
- First experience in fiches d’amputation and fiches analytiques
- Good understanding of export control classification forms and End-User or Consignee Undertakings
- Available: First point of contact for all export control documents. Ability to communicate with internal & external partners
- Law matter curiosity: Understanding of legal or regulatory requirements linked to export control + company guidelines and procedures
- Precise: Provide accurate documentation to secure compliance to export control requirements in practice.
- Cooperative: Demonstrate team spirit when dealing with stakeholders from other departments
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in French & English (in written and spoken), a third European language is a plus
