About the Job

In this role you will lead strategic initiatives to expand our client’s order intake across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll develop strategic account plans, uncover growth opportunities, and drive SafePilot solution sales. Your mission includes creating compelling value propositions for customers, building strong alliances with key partners, managing sales processes, and staying ahead by monitoring trends and leveraging social media.

Key responsibilities:

  • Targeting and engaging potential SafePilot clients within the region.
  • Mapping out key influencers and decision-makers within these clienteles.
  • Tailoring customer-centric strategies to unveil opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the sales director to craft a robust EMEA strategy.
  • Building and nurturing key relationships through a consultative approach.
  • Proactively identifying and exploiting new market opportunities.

About the Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you bring a proven track record of bringing in new sales and a deep commitment to shaping the maritime industry. Your expertise is matched by your agility in navigating complex challenges. Always one step ahead, you’re driven by excellence and has a focus on continuous development. 

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years in technical system sales, with a preference for experience in the Marine sector.
  • You are a citizen of a European country.
  • Proven sales record, ideally with a background in navigation/positioning, IT, as Maritime Pilot, or related fields.
  • Experience in working in an international environment
  • Fluent in English, with additional EMEA regional languages considered a plus.
  • A vibrant personality with a keen sense of cultural nuances.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%) across the EMEA region.
  • Ability to work remotely, demonstrating a structured and disciplined work ethic.
