Your Role:

A springboard for growth as our Financial Controller within our finance department in Aarhus, you'll be more than a number-cruncher; your position involves close collaboration with the Finance Manager as well with our Shared Service Center in India and are an appreciated member of a team that values new points of view and innovative thinking.

Your job will be dynamic, offering a blend of daily financial tasks as daily bookkeeping, account receivable and account payable management, preparation of materials and reconciliations for use in monthly reports and annual financial statements.

You will also play a meaningful role in internal controls and assist in the context of the auditing process and dive into exciting opportunities like playing a key role in our transition to MS Dynamics 365.

Your Impact:

  • Dive into financial processes, ensuring accuracy and giving fresh ideas for improvement.
  • Handle daily invoicing processes, bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable and accounts payable management. This task will be handed over to our Shared Service Center. Your role will be vital to hand over these tasks.
  • Provide assistance in preparing quarterly estimates.
  • Review and submit monthly VAT reporting.
  • Contribute to our monthly and annual financial storytelling, including preparing materials for audits, helping craft the financial narrative of our company.
  • Innovate in areas of invoicing and bookkeeping, setting new standards in financial operations.
  • Take an active role in transitioning to MS Dynamics 365, a pivotal project for our financial future.
  • Compile and report statistics as required and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What You Bring:

  • A degree in accounting (BSc or MSC) and up to 3 years of experience.
  • A knack for MS Office, especially Excel, experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and earlier versions of Navision.
  • Strong English communication skills to demystify financial data and engage with diverse teams.
  • A mix of analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a structured approach to work.
  • Experience with a shared service center is a plus but not a must.
