• Operating a large and complex machine from a central control panel while coordinating/helping other team members in support activities

The successful candidate will be responsible for successful delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards. What be you’ll doing?

In this role, you will:

• Set and enforce the quality and H&S standards.
• Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.

• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes.

What we need from you:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a similar industry.
• Ideally be an engineer who understands good manufacturing practice and has experience of automation, machine tools,
• Have strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, and supply chain management principles.
• Be able to demonstrable expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Have mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Be experienced in quality control practices and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
• Possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Carry out responsibilities as defined by production supervision.
• Operate all equipment in the Finishing area using cycle parameters found on traveller card/booklet/technical documents as per process instructions and control plans.
• Carry out loading and unloading of curing ovens in line with quality procedures
• Ensure correct identification is kept whilst products are in ovens.

• Ensure parts are placed in their correct clean/new coloured bag / trays labelled accordingly and traveller card is stamped after each process with the stamps provided showing the correct date of the process.
• Ensure that parts are fully prepared for inspection at the required quality/cleanliness level.
• Ensures optimum utilisation of machines to maximise output.
• Refer to production supervision / manager any line or associated problems.
• Carry out all work activities in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety Regulations.
• Other responsibilities include the scanning /stocktaking of parts, expediting urgent parts to/from Finishing including parts requiring Coating/Laboratory and segregation of parts for further internal/external processing.
• Compliance with the requirements of the ISO14001 environment management system and the ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system.
• Responsible for reporting any hazards / near misses / incidents that you’re aware of immediately to the area management.

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial plant utility systems including Chilled Water, HVAC, Compressed Air, Power, and other systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment modifications as well as equipment failures.

DUTIES: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US, Inc. seeks a Process Engineer - Service PLUS based out of our office at N59 W13401 Manhardt Drive, Suite 100 Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. This is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. This position does not require travel. Analyze assembly and conversion requirements and translates these into manufacturing processes to establish production rates, achieve expected quality levels and establish reliability of finished product. Develop manufacturing methods for new and existing products, establishes labor standards and develops labor and product cost information. Perform validation activities as necessary. Engage in research and development for equipment, processes, procedures and systems integration. Document all assembly or product conversion process information and sequences within the document control system. Create BOM’s and routers in JDE One World ERP for assembly and conversion processes. Identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes and methods using data or observation, develops the improvements and implements them as quickly as practical. Make improvements to production rates and reduces scrap by identifying and implementing new and better equipment, processes or human factor methods. Involved in production in troubleshooting production problems with individual components, individual processes and help improve the situation to assure customer delivery dates and superior quality. Review production schedules and engineering specifications to resolve production problems. Participate in determination of product DMR disposition plan and approval. Follow the Quality Management System protocols of IATF 16949:2016. Support Production and Quality department.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years of experience as a Process Engineer or related manufacturing engineering role. Must have: Lean Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with AutoCAD software; Experience with ERP systems; Experience with problem solving tools such as 5 why, Fishbone, and 8D; and Experience with maximum material utilization.

About the Job:

At our TSS Cadley Hill site, we manufacture hand-built Aircraft, Engine, and Airframe seals using a wide range of silicones, fabrics, and retaining metals. The moulding process involves hand fabricating silicones, fabrics, and metallic items into a part-specific mould tool, which is built to precise manufacturing specifications and loaded into a compression press to cure under pressure and heat, forming the final product.

Fortæl om, hvordan du vil bidrage til at gøre TSS til en endnu bedre arbejdsplads, og hvordan du skaber arbejdsglæde for dig selv og dine kollegaer. Vi håber selvfølgelig, at dine tidligere arbejdsgivere og kolleger giver dig ret :)

Vi beholder ansøgninger i 6 måneder. Herefter slettes de. Så ønsker du fortsat at være i vores jobbank, skal du desværre oprette dig igen. Trods det ekstra besvær er vi således sikre på, at dem, der er i Jobbanken, er aktive og interesserede, samt at vi overholder lovgivningen, men vi beklager det ekstra besvær for dig.
