Trelleborg India Private Limited, (Business Unit: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) headquartered at Bangalore is a leading sealing solution provider in India. The company with about 800+ employees across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer - Process Engineering (Documentation) to join our team. The role is responsible for creating, maintaining, updating, and governing all process-related documentation across NPD, APQP, production, and continuous improvement activities. The role ensures accuracy, consistency, compliance, and audit readiness of process engineering documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain process documentation including PFDs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Sheets, and Setup Approval Reports.
- Support APQP and NPD activities with timely creation and updating process documents.
- Manage documentation updates for ECNs, process changes, and capacity changes with proper revision control.
- Ensure documentation compliance for internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering, QA, Operations, and Maintenance teams for documentation accuracy.
- Drive standardization of templates, formats, and documentation best practices across manufacturing units.
Education & Experience:
Graduate or Post Gradate in Mechanical Engineering/Production/Industrial/Manufacturing or related field.
6–10 years of experience in Process Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering with strong documentation ownership.
Experience with document control systems, ERP, and version management
Strong working knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Sheets, and PPAP requirements.
High attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for technical documentation.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Accuracy and timeliness of process documentation.
