1. Position Summary

The Production & Maintenance Manager is responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw material processing to finished product. This role uniquely integrates the management of production output with the reliability of specialized equipment (extraction, injectors, compression …machines  ) to ensure producing efficiently to meet customer requirement with cost, delivery and quality while complying with the company standards

2. Core Responsibilities

A. Production Management

  • Resource planning: Pro-active planning resources (Capacity, labor, Material and SOPs, WI) needed based on forecast and demand and ensure well preparation to satisfy customer’s demand
  • Daily production management: Oversee daily production schedules, SOPs, production discipline to ensure meeting safety, productivity, quality, and delivery
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement to optimize production performance such as: Scraps, Wastes, ...
  • Quality Compliance: Ensure all products meet ISO 9001, AS9100 (Aerospace), or IATF 16949 (Automotive) standards.
  • Shopfloor excellence development: Leading manufacturing excellence program to develop shopfloor excellence such as DMS, 6S, AM and multiskilled operators

B. Maintenance

  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Implement a robust preventive and predictive maintenance program for machines to minimize MTBF
  • Tooling & Mold Management: Oversee the cleaning, repair, and storage of high-precision molds to ready for production and avoid quality defects and minimize wastes
  • Facility Management: Manage utilities (air compressors, cooling water systems, and power) required for continuous production with efficiency consumption such as Electricity, Water
  • Spare Parts Inventory: Maintain critical spares for specialized seal-making machinery to minimize Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Daily equipment management: Leading team to resolve daily facilities/ Equipment issues to ensure continuous production and execute RCA to prevent problems
  • Participate in project of capacity expansion or machine investment 

C. Leadership & Safety

  • EHS Leadership: Enforce strict safety protocols, especially regarding high-temperature presses and chemical handling (raw rubbers/binders).
  • Team Development: Lead and upskill a workforce of machine operators, setup technicians, and maintenance mechanics.
  • Requirement 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Polymer Science.
  • :7+ years in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Direct experience in rubber, plastic molding, seal manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of equipment management
  • System: Proficiency in CMMS (Maintenance Management Software)
  • TPM: PM, AM: SMED, Set up ,6S, DMS
  • Other Skills: Leadership, Communication, Improvement, Problem Solving
