Material Handler

Summary

Stage and un-stage resins needed for manufacturing, disposition and move product to its destination, support line clearance and stage upcoming workcenters with the material needed according to work order. Acts as connection between production team and warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Physical and electronic inventory moves within the facilities
• Use of labeling and visual controls to maintain product traceability
• Clean dryers, hoppers and lines
• Stage resins and components as needed for manufacturing
• Setup of color concentrate loaders per procedure
• Reconcile resins and components when work order finishes, relabel and return to warehouse physically and electronically.
• Maintain a clean work area including material staging area and warehouse
• Troubleshoot material issues.
• Program resin feed system
• Support physical inventory as needed.
• Operate presses as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use weight counting scales
• Self-starter and requires minimal supervision
• Experience with ERP (JDE preferred)
• Experience in cleanroom environments desired
• Forklift experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to legally drive 24’ box truck.
• Knowledge of ISO and Good Documentation Practices
• General computer proficiency
