Summary of the Role:

 As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance measures in the logistic process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications. Your role will involve managing a team, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions to uphold and improve product quality in accordance with organizational objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures.
  • Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, or finished products.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  •  Process Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process  improvements that enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, and corrective actions.
  •  Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to address underlying problems.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Implement systems for continuous monitoring of quality metrics and key performance indicators, providing regular reports.
  • Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to quality control standards and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to implement improvements.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvements.
  • Quality Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of quality consciousness throughout the organization.
  • Communication: Communicate quality objectives, issues, and improvements effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

Education and Experience: 

  •  A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, industrial management, or a related discipline is required.

 Experience:

  • Quality Management Experience: At least 7 years of experience in quality management, quality control, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing a quality control team.
  • AS9100 Auditor Experience required

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
