Business Area (BA) Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking a Controller to join their team. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for both on-site and remote work flexibility, and reports to the BA Strategic Finance Manager.

In this role, you will be working globally and support the business by preparing and analyzing business area reports as well as gathering and presenting data to provide an accurate picture of business performance and market trends. You will assist in the continual development and improvement of business area processes as well as implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting: Oversee that all entities within the business area report correctly and on schedule
- Provide support and act as a sounding board: Assist the business unit controllers, focusing on financial statements and reporting
- Prepare and analyze business area reports: Conduct monthly preparation and analysis of reports
- Gather and present data: Compile and present data to provide an accurate picture of business performance and market trends
- Involved in budget consolidation: Participate in the consolidation of the budget at the business area level
- Drive improvement projects: Lead or be a key person in projects aimed at improving business area processes, including cross-functional collaboration
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A relevant degree, such as MSc in Auditing/business administration or a BSc in Auditing
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting or controlling function, ideally in a mid-size or a large international company
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Experience with financial IT systems (Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerBI, JD Edwards by Oracle is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
