About the Job

The Healthcare & Medical Business Development Manager is responsible for the development and growth of Engineered Coated Fabrics Healthcare and Medical business in the US by building and sustainable business partnerships in defined segments, establishing and acquiring in-depth market and product knowledge, find innovative strategies to drive sales, increase profitability and achieve Healthcare and Medical targets while collaborating with multifunctional teams and adhering to the Company’s overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Trelleborg ECF Healthcare and Medical as the key commercial point of contact for the assigned customers and territories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers in defined markets to generate ongoing profitable business.
  • Take ownership of one or more strategic growth segments to identify, build and growth the customer base and product portfolio.
  • Collate customer and other third-party input to understand the market, monitor trends, identify market needs and prepare sales forecasts.
  • Work with the manufacturing facilities to support on important challenges and/or commercial
    issues for day-to-day business.
  • Assist/support the business with the preparation of press releases and promotional material for
    the Company’s products.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations as necessary to customers.
  • Assist as requested other commercial and technical personnel according to the needs of the
    business.
  • Develop quotes and proposals to new and existing customers.
  • Work with customers to define terms & conditions of sale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Textiles, or related technical field.
  • 2-5 years of Business Development, Sales, or similar role.
  • Healthcare and Medical manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Technical textile knowledge, or polymer knowledge/exposure preferred but not required.
  • Salesforce or CRM knowledge/exposure preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrable competency operating in a remote work environment.
  • Proven track record of long-term relationship building and transactional selling.

Travel Requirements

  • United States
  • Must be able to travel to all Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical manufacturing sites as business
    requires.
  • Up to 50% travel to customers and industry events as needed.
