Summary of Role

General Purpose of Position: 
Responsible for curing fabric-reinforced rubber products using special molds following written work specifications.

  • Setting up curing molds following written work specifications.
  • Loading uncured seals into molds and adding necessary performs (sub-components).
  • Clamping molds and setting the appropriate time and temperature in order as required by the work specifications.
  • Assist fellow team members and other teams as required, moving large seals or on other projects.
  • Properly reading and completing required paperwork on job packages and paperless scheduling system
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred 

Experience:  A minimum of two years in a manufacturing environment is desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Read, write, and speak English and follow written instructions
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Perform simple mathematical calculations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read a ruler and measurements
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • A self-motivated, willing team player to assist in all functions to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.  
  • Ability to identify and solve problems as they come up in their designated areas.  
  • Willingness to initiate and participate in continuous improvement efforts affects the entire organization. 
  • Desire to increase personal skills, enhancing contributions and compensation.

Salary Info:

This is a first shift position with a starting rate commensurate with experience, the minimum starting wage is $18.00 per hour
