Role Summary:
The Sales Engineer (SE) is responsible for promoting and selling Trelleborg Aerospace products across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on original equipment (OE) with some aftermarket exposure. The SE drives sales growth, builds strong customer relationships, and supports marketing initiatives while aligning with global key account and technology teams. This role reports to the Director of Aerospace APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and profit targets through strategic customer engagement.

  • Develop new business by identifying and converting projects with key accounts.

  • Support project tracking, quoting, and order management using CRM and internal tools.

  • Provide market intelligence and recommend suitable solutions for customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, marketing, supply chain) and global counterparts.

  • Ensure timely and accurate quotations, reporting, and customer follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years in sales or a technical role; aerospace or industrial product experience preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to read technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of Aerospace market in OEMs or Aftermarket is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle JDE, SAP).

Competencies:

  • Strong customer focus, relationship-building, and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with good organizational and problem-solving ability.

  • Comfortable working independently and within a team.

Travel:
Up to 50%, including local and international trips.
