- Tasks and Responsibilities
1.1 EHS Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with local, national, international EHS regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45000, and corporate safety policies.
- Develop and maintain procedures for EHS law compliance.
- Manage EHS audits, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
1.2 Environmental Management
- Monitor and report environmental performance (waste, emissions, sustainability).
- Implement actions to mitigate environmental impacts and promote resource conservation.
1.3 Health and Safety Management
- Develop and enforce workplace health and safety policies.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to mitigate hazards.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective measures.
1.4 EHS Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS training to enhance awareness of safety practices and responsibilities.
- Extend training to contractors and visitors.
1.5 Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Create emergency response plans for various scenarios.
- Organize regular drills to ensure preparedness.
1.6 Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Identify and implement improvements in EHS performance.
- Submit performance and regulatory reports promptly.
1.7 Supplier & Contractor EHS Management
- Ensure EHS compliance among suppliers and contractors.
- Oversee third-party contractors’ adherence to company policies on-site.
- Education and Experience
2.1 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or similar fields.
2.2 Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in EHS with ISO 14001 and ISO 45000 implementation experience.
- Competences
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental laws, ISO standards, and OSHA.
- Skilled in risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementing safety measures.
- Strong communication skills to convey EHS concepts effectively.
- Proven leadership and the ability to engage various stakeholders.
- Expertise in designing and delivering EHS training programs.
- Team-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Key Interfaces and Stakeholders
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, contractors, TSS Long Thanh, and TSS Group colleagues.
- Geography to Cover and Travel Requirements
- Primarily based at TSS Long Thanh, with occasional travel within Vietnam.
